About Burabylla

I have a small hobby cattery located south-west of Brisbane in  Queensland where I, as a Registered Breeder, breed quality Burmese, Abyssinian  and Burmilla cats in a loving, home environment.  Breeding Pedigree cats is not a business, it is an expensive hobby.  I do not have cat boarding facilities.

Besides the beautiful pedigree cats I have, I have an equally beautiful Moggie named Sabrina who was an RSPCA refugee in Darwin.  I think she may have a hint of Russian Blue but we can't be sure.  She was the first cat in our household and she remains Number 1 and Matriarch amongst the cats.

I am a member of the Sophisticats Cat Club Inc., a small, but friendly All-Breeds cat club based in south-east Queensland, which aims to hold quality Championship Cat shows.

I am affiliated with the Queensland Feline Association (QFA) which, in turn, is Nationally affiliated with the Australian Cat Federation (ACF)

I also participate in a number of cat-related Yahoo E-Groups, one of them called Auzcats2 where I keep in contact with other breeders and discuss or debate cat related topics.

When reading on and you see the word "owner", think more like "staff."  Cats don't have owners.

In these pages, I hope to explain many things about pedigree cats, breeders and cat shows in lay-mans terms so you can understand it all.

  Kittens

I usually have litters available as pets or for showing/breeding. If I can't help you with the kitten you want, then I can refer you to many other breeders.  I will not let anyone adopt a kitten under 10 weeks of age and would not refer anyone to a breeder who would.

Please note. I will only sell entire (undesexed) cats/kittens to registered breeders. All kittens sold as pets or for showing only, will be desexed before they leave me. This is my small part to help stop the numbers of unwanted kittens that end up at the RSPCA or the Animal Welfare League.

All of my kittens are raised as INDOOR ONLY cats. This is for the cat's safety and that of the local wildlife.

The above two paragraphs contain stipulations that will not change for any reason.
