So you’ve decided to come to a meeting, but how are you going to get there?
When and Where
Meetings are held at 8:00pm on the second Wednesday of each month at the Fremantle Lawn Tennis Club, Parry St, Fremantle (hall opens at 6:30pm - please arrive before 8:00pm).
Travelling to the Meetings
Private Transport
The majority of members travel to the meetings in their own cars. This is by far the easiest way and offers the most flexibility. Parking is available on Parry St and in nearby Ellen St, along with several other nearby places (fees are payable - telephone the City of Fremantle on 9432 9899 for details).
Getting a Lift
Many members get a lift from other members in the society, especially if they have a fair distance to travel, or they don’t have access to a car. This can provide an economical and convenient way of attending meetings. We are unable to arrange this through the website, and it is completely up to members to decide who they offer lifts to. If you are interested we suggest you ask at a meeting.
Public Transport
You can also travel to the meetings using public transport. We are unable to supply full details of all bus routes, and suggest those wishing to use public transport contact Transperth on 13 62 13 or visit their website at http://www.transperth.wa.gov.au.

The above bus routes are only provided as an indication of services available - it should be not be relied upon as proper advice. All people wishing to use public transport should contact Transperth first and find out if public transport is available, if services are available at appropriate times (meetings commence at 8:00pm (hall opens 6:30pm), and finish after 9:00pm (later if you wish to view the circuit sheets, or if there is a large number of items to deal with, or a large auction)), and also for ticket prices.
Other Methods
Members can also cycle to meetings (please contact the Society about whether bicycles can be safety secured at the hall). Those travelling by taxi should make all arrangements in advance as there are no public telephones nearby (or bring a mobile telephone).
Disabled Access
Restricted access is available to the hall, and wheelchairs can be accomodated, although there are no disabled toilets. The 98 and 99 bus routes have wheelchair access, as do some others - please contact Transperth for details (Telephone 13 62 13, Internet http://www.transperth.wa.gov.au, TTY 9485 0485).
