This book is about using creativity techniques in the care of children, showing how an understanding of the creative process enhances the quality of child-care, development and growth.
Read about the use of brain storming, mind mapping, problem reversal, lateral thinking, storyboarding and the Six Hats method of Edward de Bono. Although the book is aimed at child care professionals there is a lot of interesting material on designing a creative environment, learning and perception. As a parent of two young children, I found many principles that could be applied in the home environment.
