Folk Festivals (in our region):

Illawarra Folk Festival - Next year will be the 24th IFF held in the Bulli Showgrounds, at Slacky Flat, near Wollongong, NSW - next year it will be on from Thu 15 Jan to Sun 18 Jan

Kangaroo Valley Folk Festival - An exciting folk festival in the picturesque Kangaroo Valley, NSW, only a 2 1/2 hour drive from Canberra - this year (2008) it will be on from Fri 12 Sep to Sun 14 Sep and it will be terrific! Don't miss it!!!

Major's Creek Folk Festival - 'Music At the Creek' is held at Major's Creek (about 15 minutes from Braidwood), NSW, in November each year - last year it was on from 16 to 18 Nov. It's a terrific festival in a wonderful atmosphere!!!

National Folk Festival - Australia's biggest annual folk festival, held in Canberra over the Easter period - this year's NFF was held from 20 to 24 March. Bad luck if you missed it!!
