Cohousing Australia Admin page
draft version of this page
Communications about cohousing can be divided into three kinds:
1) people trying to find or setup cohousing,
2) people who actually live in cohousing, and
3) people facilitating, promoting, researching, theorising and dreaming about cohousing.
This page and it's accompanying email mailing list are about facilitating the development of cohousing in Australia.

OTHER COHOUSING REFERENCES IN AUSTRALIA:
The above sites have info on other web sites in Australia.
Other stuff...
- The classic book on cohousing is written by McCamant, K. and
Durrett, C. (1988) "Cohousing - A Contemporary Approach
to Housing Ourselves" Ten Speed Press. The 1994 edition
extends beyond the Danish models by including examples of American
projects. (Some spare copies of the 1988 edition for sale for
$25 if you call 9818 7494).
- For a broad perspective on participation in housing design,
read Colquhoun, I. and Fauset, P.G. (1991) " Housing Design
- An International Perspective" Basford: London.
- To get a taste of what good design can look like, Charles
Woods and Malcolm Wells have written & drawn the extraordinary
"Designing Your Natural House".
