Sponsored by the CEO, I created and implemented a project to explore
the people networks at a senior level in the Australian Firm. The purpose
was to enable partners and directors to conceptualise their internal
relationships as sales channels, and work with their networks to achieve
more sales. Visual images of people networks were developed.
The act of data collection itself raised awareness of the importance
of these networks, and the images gave people a tool to plan the development
of their networks.

The Knowledge Management Master’s program at the Centre for Organizational
Learning and Leadership involved me to teach social network analysis
as a cultural knowledge management tool. We analysed the informal class
networks, and planned the use of social network analysis as a tool in
the students' own organisations.
