There are many different interpretations of Nostradamus predictions. The one I will use is the book Nostradamus- Countdown to Apocalypse by Jean Charles de Font Brune. This represents nearly 50 years of research by himself and his father. I rely on his skill and interpretation to name countries involved during World War III.
Michael de Nostradamus lived from 1503 to 1566 . He was born in France to Jewish-French parents. His profession was as a doctor of medicine. Later in his life he practiced as a clairvoyant. He first published some of his visions in in 1555 in the form of quatrains or 4 line rhyming verse. Close to 1000 quatrains were published in 12 Centuries . Some Portents were also published and an Epistle to Henry II.
The verses were usually not dated and people and places not directly named. This was to protect him from the inquisition of the time. The verses were not in a historical time sequence and they were written in French which creates more room for error in translation to English.
If you read the direct English translation of one of his predictions , it would have little meaning. His prophecies have to be studied as a complete sequence. Also the person translating and interpreting the prophecy would need the same database of knowledge that Nostradamus had in order to have an 100% accuracy in the interpretation. This of course is not likely, therefore there will be a lot of error in translation.
An example of a Quatrain, its dictionary translation and my interpretation of it is below. I have chosen one which you can try and translate and interpret. This is one interpretation , there are other variations caused by the French to English translation being done differently.

| Comment- The above prophecy may be interpreted as referring to the recently publicised event (1998-1999) and its investigation in the USA involving someone in a position of great honour and power. This event occurred at a time when credit was easily available by members of the general public. The event involved a married man being sexually involved with a young woman outside his marriage at his place of work. The publicity caused great dishonour to that person and the position of office he held. The event was notable for the amount of publicity it attracted and length of time that this publicity lasted. |

WWIII INVASION
World War III will start from the Arab - Israel conflict in the middle
east. A Libyan chief of state will inflame many Arabs against the French.
From the Middle East the War will go to Italy and the Mediterranean coast.
Moslem troops ravage Nice, Corsica, Sardinia and Italy. There will be fighting
in Italy when the Comet appears. The comet will be visible for 7 days. The sky
will appear to have two suns.
The pope will leave Rome when war starts. The pope John-Paul II will be captured and die at Lyon. The invasion will go up Italy then into Switzerland through the tunnels. Geneva will be be destroyed. From Switzerland they will invade France.
The Russian invasion will go through Germany and then France. After Germany the Russians will invade England. A fleet in the Adriatic will move towards the Thames. The British Isles are Besieged. The fortifications near the Thames will collapse. The British head of state is captured.

ANTICHRIST IN POWER
I disagree with Jean
Charles de Font Brune interpretation of Nostradamus prophecies for the timing of
events involving the antichrist. I believe the antichrist will be part of the
allies reconquest during WWIII. The antichrist will move through Russia and the
Middle East. This pathway will be similar to the one the Mongols took when they
conquered the Middle East in the past. The antichrist will control Israel at the
end of WWIII for 3 1/2 years.

---- "..with the increase of the new Babylon, the miserable daughter, augmented
by the abomination of the first Holocast, and it will last no less than 73
years and 7 months, thereafter one will issue forth from stock which had so
long remained sterile - one preceding from the 50th degree, one who will renew
the whole Christian Church. And then great peace will be established,..".
If you assume the 73 years 7months is the time from the first Holocast WWII -1940, then this gives 2013 for the finish of the End Time Events and a period of great peace.
