VR- Series Armor Bike/Ride Armor
VR-052F/T M.O.S.P.E.A.D.A. Ride Armor (Battler)
The MOSPEADA (Mobile Operation Soldier Protection Emergency Aviation Dive Armor) is the standard model of Ride Armor. The F weapon package(twin missile launchers on each forearm) is standard on Ride Armor's stored in Mars Base Legioss' and TREAD's as a vehicle for downed pilots. The R package used by infantry Ride Armors consists the EP-37 beam gun. Infantry officers and shipboard troops used the T package and it's EP-40 beam pistol.
The role of the Mospeada Cyclone was poorly defined by the Robotech RPG book.
The Mospeada Cyclone does NOT have the chest-mounted GR-103 Mini-missile launchers,
as the Cyclone's front would have to be the same as the Blowseperior for this to be
true. The EP-40 cannot be used in conjunction with an EP-37 or RL-6. Also, it cannot be
used by a person not in a Cyclone. The Missile launcher sidecar is
not an optional weapon system, it was a one-off used only by Dusty Ares.
VR-041H Blowsperior Ride Armor (Saber)
A heavy weapon, close combat Ride Armor usually given to Special Forces troopers, the Blowsperior is the first male Ride Armor produced and saw infantry action in the First Earth Recapture Mission, before being replaced in this role by the VR-052 MOSPEADA and restricted to a special forces role.
The CADS-1 can be included on any cyclone without penalties. It's just that they
are better on the Blowsperior which has secondary, ranged wepons built in. As a tip
of the hat to those who are used to the Battler, just swap the CADS-1s for the GR-97s
as the Blowsperior actually features the chest mounted GR-103s unlike the MOSPEADA
VR-038L Bartley Ride Armor (Light Combat cyclone)
The Bartley is basicly the female version of MOSPEADA and is only designed to use the
CVR-3F armor. The Bartley
While the Robotech RPG made it a light combat version, the Mospeada ones
were made lighter and had simpler controls so that it could be used by women!
My, the days before political correctness ^_^
The Bartley can accept any of the forearm weapon modules and is not limited to the RL-6.

- Depleting the MDC of the main body shuts the mecha down completely, rendering it useless. An emergency release system allows the person inside to shead the immobilised armour.
Remember, the rider is wearing CVR-3 armour underneath the Ride Armor.
- These are small targets, attackers are -3 to hit on a "called shot"
- These are small targets, attackers are -3 to hit on a "called shot". These are actually CVR armor and destroying these locations will open up the pilot to physical (SDC/hit point) damage. Destroying the head
kills the pilot.
Note: When using the CADS-1 weapon system, the ride armor has no forearm
shields, as the CADS-1 replace them.

- PAYLOAD:
6 Recluse missiles per each side. Additional missiles can be inserted, but requires 2 melee actions. Four spare clips are stored in each saddlebag.
Forearm Weaponry
The forearm shields/front wheel hubs of the Ride Armors are designed to
interface with any one of the GR or EP series weapon modules. One
weapon module can be mounted on each forearm shield. The Ride Armor's onboard computer system
will automatically recognize which weapon module is installed and adjust the targeting
displays on the Targeting sight accordingly. Any GR or EP-series weapon module can be used, though it is not recomended to mix and match different modules.
GR-97 Twin Missile Launcher (Weapon Package F): Two Scorpion missiles
are mounted in each launcher. The missiles possess their own laser guided system and
are not dependent on the cyclone for targeting.
- PRIMARY PURPOSE: Assault
- SECONDARY PURPOSE: Anti-Mecha
- RANGE: 1700 m
- SPEED: 650 kph
- DAMAGE: 1D6* 10 MDC
- RATE OF FIRE: Single shots or in volleys of 2.

RL-6 Rocket Cannon (Weapon Package L): The RL-6 is the new standard Mars base issue hand-held rocket launcher. It has a six missile payload and is fully usable without a Ride Armor, but must be fired without benefit of the uplink to a Ride Armor's laser targeting system. Weapon mounts to the interior of the right forearm plate (front wheel cover) in Armor, and on the right shoulder hardpoint, just above the right handlebar in Ride mode.
- PRIMARY PURPOSE: Assault
- SECONDARY PURPOSE: Anti-mecha
- RANGE: 1100 m
- SPEED: 750 kph
- DAMAGE: 4D6 for each single shot
- RATE OF FIRE: Single shots or in volleys of 2, 3, 4, 5 or all 6

EP-37 Beam Rifle (Weapon Package R): The EP-37 is capable of firing
single shot, semi-automatic or full-automatic heavy armor pirecing energy beams. The weapon is powered by an
energy clip that holds 15 shots. The weapon can also be used by non Ride Armor riders, but the weapon is quite heavy for a rifle.
- PRIMARY PURPOSE: Assault
- SECONDARY PURPOSE: Anti-Aircraft, Anti-Mecha
- RANGE: 1200 m
- DAMAGE: 1D6 for each single shot, 2D6 for
each short burst, or 5D6 for each long bursts

EP-40 Beam Pistol (Weapon Package T):The
EP-40 is capable of semi-automatically firing light armor pirecing energy beams. The weapon is
powered by an energy clip that holds 45 shots. An advanced targeting
camera is mounted on the top front of the EP-40 that links directly to the targeting
computer of the Ride Armor, making the weapon very accurate.
- PRIMARY PURPOSE: Assault
- SECONDARY PURPOSE: Anti-Aircraft, Anti-Mecha
- RANGE: 2000 m
- DAMAGE: 1D3 for each single shot, 2D4 for each short burst, or 3D6 for each long

Mars Gallant H-90 Energy Pistol / Rifle:The Mars Gallant H-90 is the standard firearm of Mars Base troops engaged in the Earth Recapture Mission's. The Gallant is a energy pistol, but the addition of a clip on stock turns it into a effective energy rifle. While not a standard Ride Armor weapon package, many downed Legioss pilots used their Gallant's in Rifle mode to extend their weaponry.

- PRIMARY PURPOSE: Assault/Defense
- SECONDARY PURPOSE: Anti-mecha
- RANGE PISTOL: 200 m
- RANGE RIFLE: 900 m
- DAMAGE PISTOL: Anti-personnel shots (1D6 SDC per shot, 3D6 SDC short bursts),

- PAYLOAD RIFLE: 48 single shots, 16 short bursts, or 6 long bursts
- WEIGHT PISTOL: 0.7 kg
- WEIGHT RIFLE: 3.2 kg
HAND TO HAND COMBAT: If necessary, Ride Armor pilots can engage in melee combat
rather than use a weapon, though only the VR-040H Blowsperior with it's CADS-1 is truly designed for close combat action. The Ride Armors are extremely agile and can execute most
typical hand to hand combat moves, such as punches, jump kicks, leap attacks, rolling with
impacts, etc. DAMAGE:
- Punch: 1D6*3
- Kick: 1D6*3
- Leap Kick: 2D6*3
- Body Flip/Throw: 1D6*3
- Body Block/Tackle: 1D6*3
- Stomp: 1D4*3 . (only effective against small objects)
STANDARD EQUIPMENT FOR ALL RIDE ARMORS:
- COMBAT COMPUTER: Ride Armors are equipped with a combat
computer that can store and analyze data during combat with hostile forces. The combat
computer tracks and identifies specific enemy targets, and has a database on the Inbit mecha around at the time of it's production (First Earth Recapture Mission Ride Armors only have the Iigaa, Gurab and Protector, Second Mission Ride Armors had those and the Iigau and Gurab Second and so on) and other commonly encounted military hardware stored in memory, which can be updated with new enemy designs. The computer can identify and track up to 50 targets
simultaneously.
- FUEL CAPACITY:
The Ride Armor runs off a single HBT cell, in much the same manner as the Legioss. Typically, a Ride Armor will last about 100 operational hours (5-6 days) before cell replacement. Heavy use of the Armor Mode's twin thruster of long leaps or flying will wear out the cell quicker, reducing the amount to about 2-3 days
- EXTERNAL AUDIO PICKUP: Range: 300 ft (91.5 m). A sound amplification system that
can pick up normal conversation up to 300 feet away.
- HOMING SIGNAL: All Ride Armors are equipped with a homing device that enables
rescue teams to locate a disabled craft. The range of the signal is 400 miles (640 km).
Most Mars Base ships and Armo-Fighters can locate and track a homing signal, and the onboard
computers will automatically notify their pilots if such a signal is detected. The early stages of Inbit didn't not have the equipment to detect radio signals, but the later Gamo and Gosu had limited capabilities to detect and track most radio signals.
- LASER TARGETING SYSTEM: Range: 10 miles (160 km). Used for increased accuracy in
the striking of enemy targets and is partly responsible for the Ride Armors high hit rate. All Ride Armor weapons feature a laser sighter which links to the Ride Armor's internal targeting sight.
- LOUDSPEAKER: A loudspeaker system is built into the craft, which can be used to
amplify the pilot's voice up to 90 decibels.
- SHORT RANGE MILLIMETER RADAR: 50 mile range.
- RADIO/VIDEO COMMUNICATION: Short range, directional communications system with
satellite relay capabilities. Range: 50 miles (120 km) or can be boosted indefinitely via
satellite relay.
