Gamo
Unit Command/Heavy Combat Mecha

The Gamo represents a major improvement in Inbit mecha design. Even the Second generation mecha were merely upgraded first generation designs. The Gamo was designed to overpower the troublesome Ride Armor often used to great effect by human resistance units. The Gamo has heavy armor that Ride Armor weapons just seem to bounce off. The Gamo's own main weapons are large twin heat cannons which can quickly take down Ride Armors with single hits and savage larger mecha. Two small plasma cannon, much like those used by the Iigau, provide backup support.

The Gamo was a clear example that the Inbit were turning the tide against the human resistance forces, and was only a taste of the deadly Gosu. Ride Armor units often had to combine their attacks to slowly damage the Gamo's armor, another tactic is to bury and trap the Gamo under rubble. The Legioss often had little to fear from a Gamo, dodging out of the way of it's heat beams and striking from it's undefened rear.

Armor:

Full protection against chemical and biological warfare, radiation shielded. Armor will stop all grenade/shell/mortar fragments and energy beams originating from hand-held weaponry. Excellent resistance against heavier weaponry. The thickness of the armor makes it nearly impenetrable for the weapons commonly carried by Ride Armors.

Total armor protection is many times that of the Iigaa. The weak point, like most other Inbit mecha is its sensor eye, which still is weakly armored, and can be destroyed by just one hit, often killing the pilot inside.
