Iigaa Booster
High Speed Suicide Attack Mecha

The Iigaa Booster is yet another development on the Iigaa mecha common among the Inbit, though this time it was converted into a high speed attack fighter. The Iigaa Booster is not suited for combat on Earth as it's legs were replaced by a very powerful thruster pack that allows the mecha to reach orbit. The Iigaa Booster has the same weaponry as the Iigaa, two claws and no ranged weaponry. This might seem stupid in a high speed fighter, but Iigaa Booster's main tactic is one of continous suicide runs on the enemy, no matter the losses. The Inbit's hive like society does not place the same need to surive combat as the human one does, and it gives the Inbit a major advantage in defending the Earth.

Usually one hit is enough to take Iigaa Booster down, just you have to move fast enough to do it. The success of the Iigaa Booster can be seen in the Second Earth Recapture Mission, where they stopped the appoaching Mars Base forces in orbit.

Sensor Systems:

• Low quality visual system capable of up to 4x magnification. Night vision optics arealso provided, but suffer even more from the poor visual resolution.
• Energy Sensors, providing detection and tracking of active engines or power sources. For detection of a high-power Legioss , good resolution extendsout to 3km, fair resolution out to 6km, and poor resolution out to 16.8km. A Ride Armor at four percent of thesedistances, and a Gallant rifle at about one percent of these distances.
• External audio pickup
• Short-range ultrasonic motion trackers.

Note: Inbit pilot can communicate telepathically out to 600m.

Weapon Systems:

• No ranged weaponry of any kind.

Armor:

Full protection against chemical and biological agents, radiation shielding. Armor will stop allgrenade/shell/mortar fragments, most energy beams and personal weaponry. The Iigaa Booster relies more on it's incredible speed, than armor for protection, and like all other Inibt mecha, almost any shot at the sensor eye will kill thepilot.
