General Note about all Inbit Mecha

The various Stages of Inbit look like the mecha they pilot. The Iigaa and Iigau is piloted by Stage One Inbit. The Gurab and Gurab Second is piloted by Stage Two Inbit. The Protector by only Stage Three Inbit and the Pincer by Stage Four Inbit. The Gosu can only be piloted by Stage Five Inbit, the Solugi humanoid form.

Unlike the Mars Base mecha, Inbit mecha have no need for internal fuel due to their design, they derive their power from the Inbit race as a whole.

A Note on the Energy Sensor

The sensor can detect a high-power Legioss or TREAD with good resolution (can see right through buildings and earth, tell each mecha apart by the shape of the energy in the form of the mecha) extends out to 3km, fair resolution (can usually see through building, objects and earth, but can only see mecha as a large dot of energy) out to 6km, and poor resolution (can only see if in the open air and the energy source appears as just a tiny dot) out to 16.8km. A Ride Armor at four percent of these distances, and a Gallant rifle at about one percent of these distances.


Iigaa (Scout)

Iigaa A standard light Inbit combat mecha, the Iigaa has no ranged weaponry and can only attack with it's claws.

Iigaa Booster (Scout Booster)

The Iigaa Booster is virtually the same as the stand Iigaa except it's legs have been replaced with a large rocket thruster, turning the mecha into a high speed interceptor. The Iigaa Booster like the more ground based Iigaa, has no weapons apart from it's claws forcing the Iigaa Booster to suicide ram most targets.

Note:
*Depleting the M.D.C of the boosters main body will cause the Iigaa Booster to explode.
**Destorying both small thrusters will reduce this by 25% and -1 dodge. Destruction of the main thruster will reduce speed by 75% and -3 to dodge. If both sets of thrusters are destoryed, the Iigaa Booster is floating dead in space.

Speeds:

Flying: A maximum of Mach 8 in space.
The Mach 6 in a Earth type atmosphere, but is rarely used in that enviroment.

Iigau (Armoured Scout)

The Iigau is a second generation, energy weapon equipped version of the Iigaa, that replaced the earlier version.

  1. Twin Pulse Beam Cannons: Mounted on the top of the Iigau. They can be fired at seperate targets, but are almost always fired together. The cannons can move up and down in a 90 degree arc of fire.


  2. Hand to Hand Combat: The Iigau can also engage in hand to hand combat and does same moves and damage as the Iigaa

Weaponry:

  1. Twin Plasma Cannons: Larger and more powerful than those of the Iigau, they are in seperate units mounted on the shoulders. The cannons can rotate on a 90 degree arc of fire up and down.
  2. Hand to Hand Combat: The only weapons the Iigaa has is it's two claws. The Iigaa is reasonably agile and can execute most typical hand to hand combat moves, such as punches, jump kicks, leap attacks, rolling with impacts, etc.

Weaponry:

  1. Twin Heat Cannons: Large and powerful weapons which fire directed beams of heat, melting targets. They can either fire twin beams or both cannons firing a combined single beam, but both fire at the same time. The cannons nozzles can move a slight 30 degree angle, but the cannons themselves are fixed in postion so the gamo most move to switch targets.
  2. Twin Mini-Plasma Cannons: Twin small plasma cannons mounted on either side of the Gamo's sensor eye, much like those of the Iigau.
  3. Hand to Hand Combat: The Gamo has two large powerful arms with three quite small grasping claws, making it a poor worker, but great brawler.

The RCB possibly has a number of addtional sensors, based on the footage from "Metamorphosis" where they are able to track radio emissions.




Protector (Enforcer)

Protector
Just like the Ride Armors, the Protector is a light combat unit and often serves as a mouthpiece for the Refles to interact with humans. Their effectiveness in combat is questionable is as we see both Yellow and Rei basicly take these down with a couple of hits from their pistol mode Gallants.

*Destruction of the sensor eye/head will go straight through, killing the Inbit inside

***These are small targets, attackers are -3 to hit on a "called shot". Destroying these locations will open up the pilot to physical (SDC/hit point) damage.

The Protector is coloured Off-green-white for Urban Enforcer Units and Dark blue-white for Hive Guards.

Speeds:

Running: 30 mph (48 kmph)
Leaping: 30 ft (9.1 m) without boosters or 100 ft (30.5 m) up or across with boosters.
Flying: 200 mph (321 kmph) and has a 6000 ft meter ceiling. Very energy intensive and rarely done.

Weaponry:

  1. Energy Rifle: Large, bazooka shaped energy rifle the main heavy weapon carried by the Protector. When in use it's attached to the right arm, drawing it's energy from the Protector's armor.
  2. Mini-Forearm Lasers: Small concealed lasers mounted in both forearms, mainly used against light enemies (unarmored infantry, light vehicles).
  3. Hand to Hand Combat: The Protector has two large, three fingered claws usefull for grasping objects or operating simple equipment. As a hand to hand combatant, the Protector is quite woodern and stiff.
