VR-52F M.O.S.P.E.A.D.A. Ride Armor
(Stick Type)
Introduced for the Second Earth Recapture Mission, the VR-52 M.O.S.P.E.A.D.A (Mobile Operation Soldier Protection Emergency Aviation Dive Armor) was the most successful production model of the Ride Armor system, offering the best balance between available weaponry, speed, and cost in both an emergency mecha or infantry roles. Taking a note from the Bartley, the VR-52 series relies upon forearm plate and hand held weaponry instead of internal systems. The Ride Armors proved highly successful in giving the Mars Base infantry a more than even chance against the Inbit mecha. As the Inbit mecha progressed later in the conflict, groups of Ride Armors often had to combine their fire power to even cripple the Gamo or Gosu.
The F Standard was given to Legioss pilots as their emergency mecha as the GR-97 forearm missiles offered a good damage ratio to size, though there was many complaints from pilots who used the mecha on Earth that the missiles all too often ran out in heavy combat. These pilots often also used the EP-37 beam gun given to infantry Ride Armors to extend
the weaponry in combat.

Performance:
- Speed, Armor Bike: 220kph
- Speed, Ride Armor (running): Approximately equal to that of the pilot.
- Speed, Ride Armor (flying) : 80kph
- Max. Ride Armor Altitude: 100m
- Engine Power: 98hp/16000rpm
- Fuel supply : 300km/100 hours operational use, on one standard HBT cell
Personal Combat Armor:
To use the Ride Armor, the pilot must be wearing a suit of CVR-3M body armor, to which the Armor Bike attaches to in Ride Armor mode. The transformation will not work without the CVR armor.
Weapon Systems
F Model:
GR-97 dual 45mm x 260mm missile tubes mounted on each forearm plates (front wheel covers). The two missiles are laser-guided, have plasma warheads, and a range of 1.7 km.
(optionally)
EP-37 60mm hand-held particle beam gun
The EP-37 is capable of piercing almost any armor and doing devastating amounts of damage; each shot is rated at around 1.5 MJ. This weapon holds 15 rounds per energy clip. When used without the Ride Armor, the weapon is heavy (8 kg), and is difficult to aim. However, because servos connect the forearm plate to the Ride Armor's torso the pilot's strength is augmented and the weapon can even be fired one handed.
Additionally, the gun possesses a sighting camera which can link into the Ride Armor's targeting
system. Weapon is mounted to the inside of the right forearm plate (right front wheel cover) in
Ride Armor form and the right shoulder hard-point in Armor Bike mode. Action is semi-automatic.
Hand-held:
- A pilot may use a hand-held weapon in any hand not already occupied with a Ride Armor weapon mounted on the inner forearm plate such as the EP-37, EP-40, or RL-6. The most typical weapon carried is the Mars Gallant H90 in rifle mode.
Armor:
While the best defensive feature the Ride Armor has is its amazing agility and maneuverability, they are constructed from advanced ceramics and alloys that will stop all human small arms and rifle fire. The Ride Armors provide excellent protection for a personal armor against heavier weapons as well as against many anti-infantry energy weapons. A Ride Armor can sometimes withstand two or more minor hits from Inbit plasma guns, and the armor holds even under fire from the Gamo's heat cannons for limited amounts of time. Vulnerable areas of the pilot are part of the upper arms, thighs and helmet are not covered by the Ride Armor, and are only protected by the CVR-3 armor.
