Performance:
- Speed, Ride mode : 336kph max., 128kph typical cruising speed
- Speed, Armor mode (running): Approximately equal to that of the pilot.
- Speed, Armor mode (flying) : 288 kph at up to 61m, hover at 9.1m
- Fuel supply : 100 hours operational use, on one standard fuel cell
Personal Combat Armor:
To use the Ride Armors, the pilot must be wearing a suit of CVR-3M body armor, to which the Ride Armors attaches to in Armor mode. The transformation will not work without the CVR armor.
Weapon Systems
Internal:
The VR-52 MOSPEADA model Ride Armor has no internal armament.
External:
EP-40 40mm pulse beam gun mounted in place of the right forearm plate (right front wheel cover) of the Ride Armor. Each bolt is equal to a Gallant H-90 in rifle mode, 45 rounds per each energy clip. Clips can be recharged from any electricity producing source. Weapon is also usable from Ride mode, though the arc of fire is extremely limited. A targeting camera is mounted in the front, uplinking with the mecha's main targeting system. Action is semi-automatic.
Hand-held:
- A pilot may use a hand-held weapon in the left hand as the EP-40 only requires just the right hand to fire it. The most typical weapon carried is the Mars Gallant H90 in rifle mode.
Armor:
While the best defensive feature the Ride Armor has is its amazing agility and maneuverability, they are constructed from advanced ceramics and alloys, and will stop all human small arms and rifle fire. The Ride Armors provide excellent protection for a personal armor against heavier weapons as well as against many anti-infantry energy weapons. A Ride Armor can sometimes withstand two or more blasts from Inbit plasma guns, and the armor holds even under fire from the Gamo's heat cannons for limited amounts of time. Vulnerable areas of the pilot are part of the upper arms; thighs and helmet are not protected by the Ride Armor, but are covered by the CVR-3 armor.
