Detailed Information on
Physics Practice

Save this page for reading or printing later off-line

There are two versions of Physics Practice available:

Physics Practice v 1.4 - this version is available for Mac or Windows. It is a standalone application and requires a 640x480 screen. A list of its 28 lessons is given in the table below.

Physics Practice v 1.3 - this version is presented as Hypercard stacks. The stacks have been designed for small-screen black and white Macs and will work from floppy disks. There are 28 lessons along with an extra 8 lessons.

The problems are carefully graded so that the first questions in each lesson are easy and encouraging. There are some process questions as well, ones that require interpretation of graphs and diagrams. Each lesson takes an average student at least half an hour to complete. All questions are on screens separate from their solution. You will be able to go easily from question to solution and back again so that you give yourself hints as you attempt the problems.
