Daystar Ministry for Prophecy, Dreams and Visions
Daystar Ministry to Fiji in Oct. and Nov. 2001
Ba Pentecostal Church of Fiji Meetings
The senior pastor did not expect so many folks to turn up and had arranged things without the mike and amplifier. Just before I started, they had to arrange for amplification as we also had folks from AOG, COC and the Methodist church attending. Suffice it to say that the sovereignty of the Holy Spirit was very evident. That is, the same deep and exciting work of the Spirit in the lives of the folks that took place before continues unabated.
Ba PCF Second night seminar.
The pastor came and sat beside me in the beginning
and said that perhaps not many will turn up tonight because it was the
opening of the “Ba River Festival.” Well, we ended up with even more people
than the previous night. So much depth and excitement that blessed me wonderfully!
Fri 26 Oct.
End of seminars last night went very well with
great excitement and liberty as they readily received and appreciated learning
to hear the Spirit in the opening up of the scriptures and in interpreting
dreams and visions. Some of the folks received dreams after Sunday’s ministry
and following each seminar. The pastors were deeply and visibly moved.
Let us pray that the Holy Spirit will continue the work that has begun
in the churches of Ba.
Daystar Fiji News Fri 02 Nov 2001
Tavua Pentecostal Church of Fiji Meetings
The Lord is doing a really significant work here in Fiji which has got my full attention and has really got me wondering about His end time plans and purposes. The anointing, depth of spiritual impartation, momentum and the forming of deep brotherly relationship is just so refreshing. I find myself wishing that you folks were here to see these things for yourselves. In almost every church that I have ministered in, the pastor said that I can come anytime and the pulpit is yours. It is for this reason that lately I am able to make my own itinerary for ministering in Fiji.
The Tavua meetings were simply glorious as the momentum of the work of the Spirit continues to forge ahead. The Joel 2:28-29 outpouring of the Spirit was something else. Soooo goood to see native Fijians and Indians weeping and testifying in excitement and awe about the great and wonderful things that were happening in their lives during the week of ministry. Elders of the church testified weeping of how their spiritual lives had waned and had become lax for a long time but this week brought something new and exciting which has picked them up tremendously. One said that even her normal housework at home was light and joyful.
God poured out of His Spirit and so many folks began receiving revelation knowledge, correction and personal guidance in dreams straight away. Towards the end of the seminars, when we moved into the folks interpreting their dreams themselves, the excitement and depth of the fellowship of the Spirit was overwhelming. I have not gone this far with any church in Fiji and it just took the impact of the ministry to another level. I saw that with good anointed teaching that cleanses and matures in spiritual character, interpretation is no problem at all. This absolutely astounded me as this is the first time I have ministered to these people and as one that is always carrying the load of interpreting dreams for many. Indeed God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble. I wonder if this is another the reason that God sent Daystar Ministry to Fiji for its own development. As it was with the church in Ba, the pastor was astounded at the number of people who turned up to the mid week seminars.
As for natural food, I had evening meals at the Pastor’s residence and ate food that villagers who live by the sea brought. This time I am not going to elaborate on this wonderful blessing. When I left, the Fijians brought me gifts of mats that befitted the visitation of a paramount chief. Thank you all so much for your prayers, support and thoughts towards this wonderful ministry that the Lord has given us. I will minister at the local PCF church at Lautoka this week and then fly back to Brisbane on Saturday evening 10th Nov.
Much love and appreciation,
Paula
Started the seminars here last night and
even I am at awe at what the Spirit is doing. The English speaking pastor
left with some of the folks to start another
work. Two days before I arrived he and a few
others submitted their resignation letters. He had asked some of his folks
whether any had received dreams. This may explain why he left before I
started ministering.
Anyway from Sunday I told the folks that they
could have waited to hear from the Lord and that in any case some should
have been hearing from the Lord in dreams long before the division. Well,
last night some of the
folks lined up to tell me their dreams. Some
of the folks were with the pastor that left. The message of the dreams
was consistent and I started feeling sorry
for the pastor and the folks that left as they
definitely did not have God's sanction to go. They may be in for some kind
of judgment and the dreams are showing that many folks will be returning.
Ps John Dass and the other pastors were just so
relieved and so happy that I am here at this time. Instead of their tithes
going down, it has gone up.
This is always an indication of healthy spiritual
growth and a consolidation of the people.
