Hi Paula,

I would really like you to look into this dream that I had between 7.40 - 9.30 am on 15 Jan (was sleeping in late)....

I was in school receiving my A level results. The school counter and the clerk giving out the result slip were all in bright light. My results were 3 A's and 2 B's - excellent results to move into the university to do the highest course. Pauline, one of my intercessors, was on my left as I was receiving the results. The result slip was in the light. But, I noticed on the result slip was not my name, but the name was "Sylvia" (in reality it was my sister's name). I noticed the name. But I was joyful that I had excellent results. I placed the results into my right pocket.

Then I was busy for the day doing work on the mosquito control project with Min of Def Singapore (in reality I am doing a project with Mindef - Singapore. I was in the Mindef site doing this work.

At the end of the day I decided to go back to the school counter to tell the clerk that it is not my result and ask them to check on the name on the result slip. Deep down I knew that they are my results but the name is wrongly printed. But, anyhow I wanted to make sure that it does not belong to someone else. Anyway, the clerk in the light replied that they are closing for the day and they can't check on the name. The clerks do not seem to be interested to check. I was disappointed. I really wanted to know that these results are mine. I went home to, but I kept the result slip in my right pocket - not keen to show my parents until I am sure that they are my results.

As I was in the 'shadows' of the house, the florist sent red roses arranged on the arch (the arch that is used for weddings). This bouquet was sent by the school for the excellent results that I have obtained. The school was proud of me. My parents were so joyful and beaming . The arch of roses could not be brought into the house. It was kept at the front gate. The arch is bigger than the arch they have for weddings. I was shy. I kept thinking that the results might not be mine. By this time, my neighbors who are non-Christians came out to see the excitement of this bouquet. I kept remaining behind my parents. I came into the house and I said " Wow, my parents have kept the arch at the entrance where everyone can see. There is no chance to counter check on the name on the result slip as my results are publicly announced. I woke up from the dream with the phrase in my head " BY MY GRACE YOU LIVE, BY MY GRACE YOU RECEIVE. THOUGH YOU DO NOT DERSERVE THIS GIFT, YOU RECEIVE IT..."

Paula, I need your input in this....

I know I have already received the permanent job in Valent BioSciences to do what God has called me to do. The next step is to get married. God has been talking to me about this matter for a long time and revealing to me on the person. I have been telling the Lord that I am so inadequate for marriage and for this person - I view this person far more mature than I am and I will not be able to fit into his life (his shoes)...this dream a spiritual dream is telling me that God has equipped me and made me 'excellent' - compatible for this person...I must just accept this person without complaining, arguing...

I am looking forward to your input...

Paula, I should have written to you earlier but I did not. I am sorry ...here goes the story of what I wanted to tell you for so long: I was with the Inst Medical Research, Malaysia - a govt institute for 16 yrs working on mosquito control on daily paid research grants. Then I was made permanent in April 2004. Being permanent contradicted with what God has been telling me of my mission in life, and i.e. mission of mosquito control in Asia Pacific with biologicals - to go into nations in Asia Pacific and teach them to do the right mosquito control with biologicals and not with chemicals so that the lives of people will be extended with quality and to hear the Gospel message.

The Lord gave me this mission in Sept 2002 and since then I faced heaps and heaps of problems trying to snuff out this mission in my life. Then, the worst was being made permanent at the Institute and I could not do the mission; at the permanent I can't travel; my job was more admin. But, thank God for the wisdom that came from a series of dreams that I had in 1998, you gave me the interpretation... and I had printed it out.and early 2004 I found these printed papers in my cabinet. I read it. So in April 2004, I just meditated on the interpretation and the wisdom you gave me...the Lord led me through this interpretation that you gave in 1998.i acted on the interpretation and I applied for a job with Valent BioSciences Corp (VBC). VBC gave me the job as Tech Dev Specialist with Public Health. VBC produces biologicals, which is widely used in Australia esp. in Brisbane City Council. I am based in Singapore, but I travel a lot in this region please pray for me...

I had a series of 3 dreams from May to August 1998. The dream that I have here which helped me out was the dream that I had on 9 Aug 1998. Initially you were reluctant to interpret and then you made a go at it.... I am just attaching - hope you enjoy reading and be encouraged and you move on all the more, as we are getting closer to rapture...

(Btw: the man in the beard in the dream whom I asked for help - is in reality an Aussie who looks exact to that - I did not really know him when I had the dream in 1998 ...I only knew him in 2001...)...

Had this dream on 9 August 1998 - Sunday Morning.

I was kidnapped and kept in a building in the upper floor. I dare not make an attempt to escape. In the next scene I was outside the building. I hid behind a lorry. I wanted to make a dash but at the same time I was afraid that I would be caught. I saw one of the kidnappers, a lady, walking pass by the lorry and she was looking around for me. I decided to show up to her. She held me to take me back into the building. She was not violent with me but I was afraid that she was going to hurt me for making an attempt to escape. Next I saw myself getting into a bus and right at the back seat I saw an elderly man holding a toddler. The toddler has made a medical history by successfully undergoing a bone marrow transplant. As I approached this toddler the elderly man vanished and I sat beside the toddler, who had a very jubilant look. He gave me a wide grin and I thought to myself that he had a complete set of teeth, which is unusual for a toddler. I know he was matured for his age. I told the toddler that I am kidnapped and he requested me to ask for help from Dr. Young. Dr. Young, a well-dressed man just got into the bus and he was functioning as a bus conductor .I went up to Dr. Young and told him as such. Immediately he took my hands and alighted * from the bus. He took me across a highway, which was heavy with traffic. He just pulled me across the road. The cars stopped to allow us to pass through. I thought to myself that if I had been alone I would have never crossed this road.

In the next scene I was at my home. It is not the present home where I am living now with my parents. This is a comfortable double storey home with very green and fresh surroundings. I was in the upper floor looking out and I saw police cars all around the house, the police know that I have been kidnapped and they are there to help but they do not know that I have returned home safely. My parents have gone to church, they know I am kidnapped and I thought to myself that they must be worried for my safety. I was waiting eagerly and anxiously for their return home from church to tell them that I have come back safely.

This was not an easy dream to interpret but I will have a go at it and maybe it will help you to better grasp a meaning to the dream.

First of all you appear to be in circumstances, probably of relationship with family, church or work, where you do not feel the freedom to do what you want to do (kidnapped).You have the opportunity to leave and be free but you voluntarily chose to remain in this situation. (I decided to show up to her. She held me to take me back into the building.) There appears to be a suggestion of adverse repercussions if you chose to leave and be free. (She was not violent with me but I was afraid that she was going to hurt me for making an attempt to escape.)

There is a move of God's Spirit (bus), which you have entered or become involved in.
The elderly man holding the toddler is probably portraying wisdom and maturity, which is of this move of God. The toddler he is holding and showing you represents the fruit of this 'bus' which is people who once were sick in their sin, have now undergone the miraculous transformation of being 'born again' (historical bone marrow transplant). That is, many people are getting saved in this move of God and become spiritually mature beyond their age (toddler had a complete set of teeth and was mature for his age).
In this background of this move of God, you admit that you are in bondage (I told the toddler I am kidnapped). The life and spirit of this move of God points you to the conductor of the bus who is the Holy Spirit (Dr. Young).

Now, that which is required for you to be free is not easy for you to do alone - especially without the Holy Spirit. It is like having to cross a busy highway on foot and where there are no traffic lights or pedestrian crossing. The dream is saying that the Holy Spirit is well able to take you across the barrier to your freedom.

The last scene of your dream appears to be showing that you will be free and in the freedom you will return to your parents home. The new house and the fresh surroundings mean that your parents' attitude towards your quest for freedom will change to be positive for you. This is also expressed by the police who are for your welfare and who don't know you are already free from captivity. The last sentence of your dream says, "I was waiting eagerly and anxiously for their return home to tell them that I have come back."
Hope this helps you somewhat. Nevertheless, let us trust the Lord always in all things!
