DIVISIVE RELIGIOUS TRADITIONAL GATHERINGS MUST DECREASE so that the manifestation and expression of God will increase in gatherings that have neutral religious group identification and motivation. It is Christ in us, who had a religiously neutral demeanor in being found around publicans and sinners, who must increase. Subject: Dream: Hennie Roetz

Dear Paula,
I had this dream in the early hours of the morning and woke up with a vivid picture in my heart and mind. Even as I type it I can see it clearly, the color of the jungle, the grass, the color of peoples cloths. It is just an incredible sense that this is a prophetic dream that needs careful consideration, for both my wife and I. I am sure that in time God will reveal the interpretation to me, however you know that I value your input and interpretation over many years, and feel that you would hear something significant in this (not that my other dreams were not), Should anyone else have input, it will be greatly appreciated.

Dream: Pastor Hennie Roetz February 4th. 2005 3-37 am.

M y wife and I went to a large gathering, secular seminar and as we walked in we noticed several people we knew, some born again believers, others who we knew, did not know the Lord, let alone what it was like to be filled with the Holy Spirit. This was a strange thought as we were not there to worship, rather to listen to several speakers, many whom we have never heard of before. We sat down and from the onset of the first song that they started singing, the presence of God filled the place and people started raising their hands in worship. Some were overcome by the presence of the Holy Spirit and, many if not all came to their feet. I looked around and noticed that even those who had probably never in their lives been in a Charismatic service were awed at what they saw.

** This is describing a non-denominational and non-traditional religious gathering devoid of any denominational or group worship format. It is just a gathering of folks that have come to listen to speakers as in a secular seminar. The inference is that the gathering has been stripped of all that pertained to divisive denominational or church group identification. Such unity attracted the blessing of God for divine priestly anointing and ministry.

Psa 133:1 A Song of degrees of David. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
Psa 133:2 It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;
Psa 133:3 As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life forevermore.

A speaker was invited to come and speak, and we were all told that he could not make it, however, another was sent in his place to substitute for him. The gentleman came to the podium and as he started to speak, faintly, I asked that they turn the volume up as we could not hear what he was saying in the back where we were sitting. He obliged and continued his message.

Rev 3:6 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

He had several people who sat in the aisle get up and assist him with a visual project he wanted to explain to them. He narrated the story of a soldier who was a Captain in the army, and used a colorful braided covering, the size of an a4 piece of paper to illustrate on an overhead slide what he was trying to relay to everyone. He started with the person at the back of the isle and covered all but a very large dot on the overhead slide and moved forward until he reached the person at the front who was holding the final transparency slide. At this point six dots, from large to much smaller was covered and the seventh dot was but a mere spec on the overhead screen. Someone behind me asked what this meant, and I explained.

"We all start out like this army captain, thinking that we are important and big, but the more we are in the battle, we realize that we become smaller and He becomes bigger. At the end, we are but a mere dot, in order for Him to be greater, far greater than we all are."

Joh 3:29 He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.
Joh 3:30 HE MUST INCREASE, BUT I MUST DECREASE.
Joh 3:31 He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all.
Joh 3:32 And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony.
Joh 3:33 He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true.
Joh 3:34 For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.

**Divisive religious traditional gatherings must decrease so that the manifestation and expression of God will increase in gatherings that have neutral religious group identification and motivation. Col 1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
Col 1:28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:

2nd Part of Dream:

My wife and I had taken a long journey, also to a remote country, as above, however this time it was a remote Russian village, where we were to meet up with a Pastor and his two sons. They picked us up as we stepped off the boat and we began a long and winding drive into a very remote part of the country.

Whilst driving, my wife had the urge to speak with them of chastity and how we should keep ourselves pure for marriage. I looked at the two of them sitting in the back seat, for some unknown reason we were driving. They appeared a little bemused at our conversation, however I could see that they agreed that whatever is intimate should wait until two become one.

We arrived at a clearing in the jungle and found a compound surrounded by a high fence with a lock to the gate. I asked why it was necessary to lock the compound and the eldest of the young man explained that they felt safer this way, and there was no reason other than this. We stepped into the compound and saw to our left a White Motor-home and spread across the compound several tents of different colors with the side flaps down. We walked toward the Motor home, but was told that our sleeping and living quarters would be at the far corner of the compound in a pale colored tent, that appeared to only have a bed in it. We agreed and they showed us the inside of their Motor home and proudly said that they had direct satellite television. We looked in and noticed that the place was neat and the picture on the TV was a little blurred.

We walked over to our accommodation and my wife then asked me to help her find the place where we could wash ourselves. We found a wash stand at the center of the compound and searched around for towels and facecloths. We found some and realized that it will have to do for now.

I walked awhile and the next moment I was at a White building, very modest and I started going into it when I noticed a stairwell going off to the right. I walked down the stairwell and at the bottom, the isle as well as the walls were adorned with Russian artifacts, depicting people praising and worshipping God. It was new to me, I did however sense that much of God was taught and enjoyed in this humble but beautiful sanctuary.

As I turned to walk away, a middle aged man, well over six and a half feet came walking towards me. He had a ruddy looking face with a red beard and a bush of red hair. He did not introduce himself, but I sensed that he had something to do with the sanctuary, and I pictured King David looking like this. I walked up the stairs with him and in the compound he walked toward the motor home when we came across my wife. She greeted him with an exuberant hug around the neck, and he appeared a little flabbergasted. She explained to him, that God had given her such confidence that she had this fire within her to be whom God had called her to be, exuberant and full of life. He just smiled and still did not speak a word.

We were asked by the young men to join them for the service in the chapel I had been to earlier. We felt a little uncomfortable as we only had short sleeves and pants to wear and felt this may be inappropriate to wear to a church service, we shrugged it off and went down the stairs. On our arrival the chairs were filled with people and we took our place in the back of the building.

I then got up and walked through the door and into a dusty street, not venturing too far from the building. I peered down the street and noticed that most of the buildings, even though well kept, were older. There were people walking towards the sanctuary and to the left of me, a dirt road continued through the jungle.

I went back into the sanctuary and took my place next to my wife. The gentleman with the red beard and hair was standing in the front at the podium. He was washed and dressed in white and looked even more serene than I could imagine anyone to look.

He took stock of what needed to be done around the compound and in particular pointed to needed repairs and paintwork to be done around the sanctuary and the building they were meeting in. He appointed several people who obviously were crafted in skills to effect the repairs. I notice that most of the repairs were something negligible and could be done in a short while. Of particular interest, because I like painting was the window frames that needed a steady hand.

As we sat down the Pastor had walked down the isle to the back where we were sitting, and without saying anything, motioned us, together with some other folk, to follow him to the front. When we got to the front he pointed to a row of seats to the right and we all shuffled in and as I wanted to sit next to my wife, there was no seat available. I did not want to sit anywhere else and soon they had moved up enough for me to sit next to her. I sat down and the Pastor took his place to start preaching.

** The gathering unto Christ in Part 1 of the dream is being contrasted to the gathering unto the typical religious denominational church environment of Part 2. In this respect we note that the church compound in Part 2 had high fence and a locked gate. Part 2 describes the church group institution with its history, program, maintenance, ritual and protocol. As there was no manifestation of the presence of God, we can conclude that the church gathering of Part 2 was a gathering unto the church institution rather than a gathering unto Christ. The dream is instructing that this gathering must now decrease so that the gathering unto Christ increase. The following companion scriptures describe this divine environment and divine condition.

Eph 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
Eph 4:12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Eph 4:13 TILL WE ALL COME IN THE UNITY OF THE FAITH, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:
Eph 4:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
Eph 4:15 But speaking the truth in love, MAY GROW UP INTO HIM IN ALL THINGS, WHICH IS THE HEAD, EVEN CHRIST:
Eph 4:16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

1Pe 1:17 And if ye call on THE FATHER, WHO WITHOUT RESPECT OF PERSONS JUDGETH ACCORDING TO EVERY MAN'S WORK, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:
1Pe 1:18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from YOUR VAIN CONVERSATION RECEIVED BY TRADITION FROM YOUR FATHERS;
1Pe 1:19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

PERHAPS YOU ARE BEING FOUND IN THE WEALTHY CHURCH SITUATION and the dream is reminding you of your ministry calling that the scriptures below also embody. That is, you have a ministry calling for the salvation of the poor and marginalized in society. It is for this reason that you are uncomfortable and not able to find restful satisfaction (beds) in the ministry environment (house) where you are at present. Dream: Hennie Roetz 28 January 2005

My wife and I were driving around in our car, when I noticed a For Sale sign to a house in a relatively affluent neighborhood. I was convinced that we would not be able to afford to buy in the neighborhood, however recognized the home as being of someone my wife was acquainted with. It was a lovely ranch style home and we drove up to the front door and was greeted by the owners housekeeper. I asked if she would mind us looking around at what the home has to offer, she agreed and we began our tour.

We started out to the far side of the house and as we approached the Living room she pointed us to a wall that had plaster cracks and said that the owner would have to fix that before selling as it was caused by a fire recently.

We then went to another room and noticed although large and probably a Lounge, it had sliding doors that closed to form privacy for a bed that was standing in one corner, I felt a little uncomfortable with this. We then walked to the front of the house and on one side of a large room, just beside the front entrance was another bed also with doors to partition the room. We then walked to the back of the room and was told to be quiet as they had a boarder who was still sleeping. We walked passed the boarder sleeping on the lower space of a bunk bed. At a glass door standing open, I peered my head around to find an unfinished portion, totally closed in, stretching the full length of the house.

I saw two large dogs at the far end, when they noticed me they came running towards me. I closed the door and as it had no latch I placed a chair in front of it. Well! the door did not hold the dogs and I backtracked as they came charging towards me. I jumped onto the bed where the boarder lay sleeping and pulled myself against the wall. The dogs grabbed my arms just above the wrists and bit into my flesh and would not let go. The housekeeper had to pull them off me, and then calmly told me that they would leave me alone. I saw that they had punctured the flesh on each arm and it looked real bad. I tentatively walked towards the Living room and once there the dogs went for me again. I chastised the Housekeeper and told her to please lock them away. She reiterated that they would not bite me again. As I walked away, they attacked me again and bit me in the same place on my arms. I was furious, and said I would have to speak with the owner.

In the next scene I was standing at a counter in a store and the owner of the home was there. On the counter lay two gift vouchers for $10-00 each. She told me that this was a gift for the discomfort I had endured with the attack by her dogs. I looked at her incredulously and hoped that she would realize, just my medical attention to have the bites seen to would be 100 times greater than the amount she placed before me. An assistant tried to draw her attention to my stares, however she chose to ignore me. I then went off and had the necessary shots to protect me from any further infections that may come as a result of the bites

** Perhaps the key to understanding the dream is to work out what the house of someone your wife was acquainted with represented. Since the house was in an affluent neighborhood it could refer to The Wealthy Church. The proud, insensitive and assertive attitude of the housekeeper and house owner towards the dogs attacking and wounding you reminded me of the following companion scripture:

Jam 2:6 But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats?

In this line of interpretation you and your wife represent the poor and marginalized.

Luk 7:42 And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most?
Luk 7:43 Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged.

Luk 7:46 My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment.
Luk 7:47 Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.
