Subject: Dream within a dream within a dream

Good Morning - I have a question about dreaming.

Last night I had a dream within a dream within a dream and I know the most important thing was not so much the content in the dream (which was about supernatural favor) as the fact that it was a dream within a dream within a dream.

In the dream within the dream within the dream I wrote down the dream experience.

In the dream within the dream I am unexpectedly told to explain what I knew to a group of people but as I am speaking I was having difficulty saying it smoothly. I knew I had written it down - and I wondered why I was having so much difficulty speaking what I had written. What I said was close to what I "knew" but it was very broken and awkward.

I remembered thinking "I should go and get the paper on which I had written the dream but that there hadn't been time." I had been put on the spot by a person to tell right then. Then in the dream I seemed to be pulled back a level and I realized what I was asked to speak about truly was a dream within the dream I was having.

Is this saying the "dream" is there -though hidden - and I am just having a hard time putting it into exact words (and am being pressured to do so) or could it be a warning to not give in to man's pressure to reveal what is not ready to be revealed? Do these dreams within dreams within dreams have a deeper meaning than "ordinary" dreams?

I know the scriptures says to "write the vision and make it clear" which I have done to the extent that I understand what we are called to do. I would like to "think" that Father God is taking us into a deeper more accurate level of understanding and revelation, which will benefit many at the right time.

Seems I have more questions than answers on this one! Thank you for any help you care to give. Sincerely, maggie moncrief

** This is the first time I have heard about a third level in a dream within a dream within a dream. Many things in the realm of the spirit remain a mystery to us and only the Holy Spirit can reveal such things when needed.

1Co 2:11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
1Co 2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

** You mentioned being pulled back a level (first level) and then you realized what you were asked to speak about. You could not articulate what you knew in the second level and what you knew that you needed to explain was a dream received in the third level. We know from studies on sleep that there are different levels/states of sleep. I wonder if we can dream at these different levels? If so then your dream is showing that there are at least 3 different levels of sleep. The problem with this line of speculation is that natural instruments can only measure natural phenomena. When we delve into the realm of the spirit we are translated into the mysteries of the spiritual world that natural instruments cannot measure.

We know that scripture speaks about the third heaven.

2Co 12:1 It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.
2Co 12:2 I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such a one CAUGHT UP TO THE THIRD HEAVEN.
2Co 12:3 And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;)
2Co 12:4 How that he was CAUGHT UP INTO PARADISE, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.
2Co 12:5 Of such a one will I glory: yet of myself I will not glory, but in mine infirmities.

After a time, Jesus then said, `enter into my joy.' This joy was in His bosom or being at His bosom, trying to explain this.. that's where the joy is, which then in turn is my joy. I was thanking Him for loving me so.

Joh 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the BOSOM OF THE FATHER, he hath declared him.

He then said` Look' and I saw myself on a platform before a congregation of people. Around me, from my right, to behind and on my left were angels who were fire. Then above us was Jesus, lifted up, the King of Glory.

I saw as I ministered the peoples eyes looking toward Jesus, the King of Glory and coming to Him. The broken in heart, and as they came, He poured oil upon them. He then said, ` this is what you'll do for my kingdom. It has been decreed, it has been appointed, it has been anointed. I am with you always, even to the end.'

Isa 61:1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
Isa 61:2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
Isa 61:3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
Isa 61:4 And THEY SHALL BUILD THE OLD WASTES, THEY SHALL RAISE UP THE FORMER DESOLATIONS, AND THEY SHALL REPAIR THE WASTE CITIES, THE DESOLATIONS OF MANY GENERATIONS.

I then heard, Ho, Ho ( I cried so much during all of this and physically was almost unable to contain what I was being shown, if that makes sense).

I came out from the vision...I had no idea what Ho, Ho was or meant so I looked it up and found two verses, Isa.55:1, Zeh.2:6 howy, taken from halak, meaning..to walk, come, enter, forward, on, out, up and down, + greater, grow, lead, march, run(along), send, speedily, spread, still, surely

Psa 24:3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?
Psa 24:4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
Psa 24:5 He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
Psa 24:6 THIS IS THE GENERATION OF THEM THAT SEEK HIM, THAT SEEK THY FACE, O Jacob. Selah.
Psa 24:7 Lift up YOUR HEADS, O YE GATES; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the KING OF GLORY shall come in.

Rev 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man HEAR MY VOICE, AND OPEN THE DOOR, I WILL COME IN TO HIM, and will sup with him, and he with me.
Rev 3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
Rev 3:22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

GUIDELINES TO THE POSTING OF DREAMS AND INTERPRETATIONS ON THE D&V LIST.

In the D&V List we only want to focus on what the Spirit of God is saying to the churches in dreams and visions of the sleep state, in visions of trance states induced by God and in divinely given "open vision." The two primary aims for the D&V List are:

1. DECLARATION - Declaring what the Spirit is saying to the churches in Dreams and Visions.
2. DISCIPLESHIP - Teaching Christians to discern the teaching of the Holy Spirit in the interpretation of Dreams and Visions.

Please send in Dreams and Visions that will serve these purposes. DO NOT SEND ATTACHMENTS.

With regards to interpretation, we welcome possible interpretations, alternative meanings, corrections and additions. However, there will be a flow in agreement of that which the Lord is saying in dreams and visions from around the world at particular times. Generally, postings on the List will be done in harmony with the flow of this River. Accordingly, God given dreams and visions need to be interpreted from the content and "vocabulary" of the dreams and visions themselves.

Interpretations must also be made in relation to the whole dream or vision and not to just an isolated part thereof. In this way the D&V List postings will try to avoid any particular doctrinal bias which have no credible relation to the dreams or visions posted. Thus, in order for interpretations and comments from mails to be posted, they will have to contain credible witness from the whole dream or vision and from relevant scriptures.
