Circumstances

Prayed for a word on whether I should continue preparing to go to Kenya as I have had some doubts recently about going relative to finances and lack of understanding about what I wanted to do. I wanted to minister to Christians in the local churches in the discipleship way of Daystar Ministry but my contact wanted large outreach evangelical meetings.

Dream:

Part 1

I was in a classroom of a tertiary education complex like TAFE (technical education institution). I was observing the lecturer teaching my son David and Dianne. Dianne was studious as usual and David seemed to be looking up something in his textbook. The lecturer was speaking baby talk as he lectured. David interrupted and asked why was he using baby talk when he could have used the adult word he got from the book.

** This may be revealing the way things are spiritually in Kenya relative to maturity in hearing and knowing the Lord.

Heb 5:12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

Heb 5:13 For every one that useth milk is unskillfull in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

Heb 5:14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Part 2

I was still at TAFE but outside in a large courtyard. I saw that many students did not have a shirt on. I thought that this was inappropriate and rather resembled a building site. I then saw that I also had no shirt on and my initial embarrassment dissipated because many others were also topless.

** It could be that there is ignorance or nakedness concerning the ministry unto maturity in hearing and knowing God that Daystar Ministry possesses. This would not be addressed if I went ahead to Kenya and only outreach evangelical meetings took place (I also had no shirt on).

Rev 3:18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eye salve, that thou mayest see.

Rev 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

Part3

While still at TAFE I was reading the Sunday Mail. To my horror I saw that sexual pornographic photos were published in the newspaper. It dawned on me that the newspaper had been losing readership and this was an attempt to defy the law but a guaranteed way to increase readership substantially. They could always plead that they made a mistake after that the readership was increased. David wanted to read the paper so I took off the offending front and back pages and gave him the rest. I intended to keep the pages for evidence against the newspaper.

** Perhaps there is warning of corruption here that is in need of repentance.

2Pe 2:18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.

2Pe 2:19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.

2Pe 2:20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

Part 4

It was like I was still at TAFE but in another country. I had gone out with Ps Vasu (overseas contact in real life) and he had dropped me off to get dressed for a wedding that he was going to. I was not invited but in his usual manner he was going to take me because I was visiting and I was his guest. I had on casual light coloured shirt, long pants and shoes. I figured that I did not need to get changed. When Pastor Vasu came to pick me up he was dressed in a formal suit. When he saw me he said that I could not go with my casual clothes and I needed to change. I walked upstairs to my room and dwelt on the fact that I was only visiting and did not bring any formal clothes. I clearly could not go.

** Here Pastor Vasu represented my Kenya contact and I clearly could not go and join him (marriage) for ministry there.

Paula,

These are the dreams I received over the last 2 nights.

Dream received by Pam on the 23rd of December 2004.

The dream began while I was driving a car to a meeting at Christian Outreach Centre.

After this I was speaking to a large crowd of people at the church.

I was saying to them that if they got out of their seats and came to the front of the church the anointing would fall on them so that their ears would be opened to hear the Lord speaking to them. I then went on to explain that the Lord wasn't going to open their ears so that they could give other people a message from the Lord. The Lord was opening their ears so that they could hear him talk personally to them and therefore they could have a close relationship with the Lord.

As a few people scattered around the church got up and began walking to the front of the church the anointing would fall on them. I could see them being slain in the Spirit by the Lord and I knew that they were not to come to me, for me to lay hands on them, but it was the Lord who was to touch them.

** This is a typical dream portraying the anointing that is upon NETCO of which Daystar Ministry is a part. The dream represents a word of encouragement.

Dream received by Pam ( a nurse) on 22 December 2004.

Circumstance: Paula asked us to pray for a word concerning something he was considering. He did not share what it was.

The Health Promotions manager was away on leave and I was acting in her place. As I was the acting manager the office was being moved to a new building. This building was in a high rise and I remember seeing the large window behind the desk and computer.

After a time the manager returned from leave and she informed me of the birth of her grandchild. Merran said that she was going to name her grandson Isaac. When Merran said the name it struck me as being significant in the dream. I then thought that I would buy Isaac a play activity set (to promote his development) as my gift to him.

** Interesting dream Pam. If the health promotion manager represents a spiritual health promotion ministry then Daystar Ministry may qualify. Well, the manager for Daystar Ministry (Paula) got the news on Christmas Day that a grandchild had been conceived to be birthed in August 2005. It was a long overdue child from the grand parents perspective (Isaac). As this dream was received on the same night as the one below, it is for a sign that the message of the dream below is a THUS SAITH THE LORD!

Dream on the same night:

I was standing in a crowd of people in a prisoner of war (POW) camp. I had something in my pocket which was of great value and I wanted to sell it to those around me.

However, I did not pull it out of my pocket as I knew that when I exposed what I was carrying I would become a vulnerable target and shot by the soldiers who maintained the camp.

I placed my hand on the document in my pocket and felt it but I did not pull it out of my pocket as I knew that the time was not right yet.

** It looks like the time for ministering Daystar in Kenya (pull out documents) was not right yet! It is presently being restrained in the scheme of things with regards to spiritual warfare (POW) generally.
