Dear Pastor Cavu,

I have two dreams I would like to request your interpretation.

The first dream I am in a furniture store with my husband and my girlfriend, Cloey, who is our prophetic team leader. I see a large wooden hand carved piece of wood with my first name "Tina" engraved into the middle of the piece. I want to buy it at the sale price, the week before it had been on sale. My husband says for me to ask the salesman if I can purchase it at the sale price from the week before. The salesman says yes. He also tells me included in the price of $56.26 is a gliding rocker with the footstool/ottoman. My husband and my friend carry the furniture to the front of the store and I am leading the way singing "I am blessed and highly favored"!

The second dream I am single and I'm sent to be a servant (nanny, housekeeper, maid, companion) to my real life husband and children. ( In this dream I am like the character Julie Andrews played in "The Sound of Music") The man's first wife had passed away and he needed help. I leave my apartment/townhouse and travel to the mountains (it looked like North Georgia) and I arrive at a little green house in the mountains. I said to myself this place doesn't look too good. I married the man who in the dream is my husband and began caring for the three children. I immediately fell in love with them and even though the place was small and not quite what I had planned or hoped for I deeply loved the life there and was very happy and content.
My name in the dream was "Mary Cross".

Hi Paula,

I had a dream where I was standing on a balcony. There was a man with a huge dog. The dog must have been as big as an elephant. I was on the balcony and the man with the dog was on the ground. The dog walked away from the man and jumped up on his hind legs to lick me on the chin. His hind legs were on the ground, but because he was so large he was able to reach me to lick me.

Next I was on lower ground again and saw 3 quite tall ladies (All exactly the same height and hair style) walking down the road. They all turned their heads towards me and smiled. One was in a red/white vertical striped dress, the other an all red dress, and the other red patterned dress. They were holding party celebration items in their hands. They all wished me a happy new year and smiled and kept walking in unison together.

My background is I am married (no children) I have been a Christian 13 years and go to the Uniting Church. My ministry is in singing.

** The picture has the 3 ladies on the lower ground, the man and the dog on the higher ground and you standing on the balcony. This gives us a progression that may have meaning. Dogs can have negative or positive meaning as you may have read in some of the D&V postings. The progression most likely gives the dog a positive meaning in this dream. That is, the dog as a pet rather than a barking and attacking nuisance. As a pet the dog can portray a gift of the Spirit. Here as the dog accompanies and delights its owner so does a spiritual gift accompany and delights a minister.

A giant dog could therefore represent a very significant gift of the Spirit that is related to singing, celebration and rejoicing in the church (3 women in red and white dresses) and the prophetic (you standing on the balcony having good vision and outlook). Thus the dream is encouraging you in the prophetic in your singing and ministry (dog licking you). It appears that your involvement in singing (lower ground) has led to the blessing of the gift of the Spirit (higher ground) that will enhance your prophetic ability (standing on the balcony).

With regards to interpretation, we welcome possible interpretations, alternative meanings, corrections and additions. However, there will be a flow in agreement of that which the Lord is saying in dreams and visions from around the world at particular times. Accordingly, God given dreams and visions need to be interpreted from the content and "vocabulary" of the dreams and visions themselves.
