The New Testament does mention two resurrections specifically (first resurrection and second resurrection). We may regard these as two orders of resurrection. The first order is of the resurrection of the saints, believers or people of God (Rev 20:4-6) from the physical body (first death). This is the one that could involve multiple resurrections. Hi Paula,

I had a dream early this morning and I am led to share with you - I believe it is a very, very personal with a direct in depth message to me - I would like you to instruct me from this dream .......

Dream :

I am in a room with many people, the room was in light...people have submitted their passports to a lady who is handling it and were waiting to collect their passports .While waiting they were sitting on wooden benches. The benches were arranged going upwards (like in a stadium)..I noticed the people were seated in neat rows but not close to one another but as distinct individuals...some individuals look grim..

I had submitted 4 passports, the front covers were in red color - the passports were from my parents, my sister and for an aunty (in reality this aunty is a close family friend - a great intercessor who visits my parents regularly and spends time in prayer). I had submitted their passports for renewal, as the 4 are soon leaving for India (our home land in real life). I was anxious in the dream because I want to get their passports soon from the lady as their flight is within the next few days. This lady is waiting for the approval of all passports from the head office. I walked up again to inform the lady that the flights are soon and must get the passports as soon as possible....

I came back to my place of waiting - it was wooden table and a nice cushioned chair right in front of the room - the table and the chair were the only furniture right in front - reminded me of the teacher's table and a chair in the classroom - I was surprised that when I vacated the chair to remind the lady to hurry up with the passports that no one came and occupied my chair as there were a number of people around the table without a place to seat. I came back to the nice red cushioned chair. I sat on the chair and I thot " Good, the family - the 4 people - are going to India and when they are away I will have more time to serve God better" - in this thot I saw myself all in light in a room , busy working....

Just before or after this thot, I saw that in this room of waiting , on my left the wall is actually glass panels - and i saw through the glass panels , on the outside the water was rising high and the water is moving inwards in full force....I woke up at this point ...

Thots :

This dream has to do with after RAPTURE - my family of 4 returning to India (our homeland) actually indicates the return to Heaven. After rapture there is still a direct ministry for me to do on earth in a transformed body.

Paula, I do remember many years ago when you started this ministry over the net, you mentioned of people still doing the Lord's work on the earth after rapture. I remember asking you on this topic and you sent me one of the dreams list. Well, I did not read it then, thinking I will read it later....but, now do not have the list - I think it was D&V No 2

** The List is included at the end.

I believe that you may have discerned the hidden meaning of this dream when relating preparation for flying to your homeland (India) to preparation for the rapture. The red passports could pertain to identities of believers who are covered in the blood of the New Testament Covenant in Christ Jesus. Further reference to the resurrection rapture can be discerned from the flood of water you saw through the glass window that related to “as the days of Noah were.” (Having said this, I am aware that this dream could be warning of another tsunami coming to your Asian region of the world.)

Mat 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Mat 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Mat 24:37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Mat 24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,
Mat 24:39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Your teacher table in front of the stadium of people waiting for their passport to the Rapture may indicate your teaching ministry (and those whom you represent) that has to do with the salvation (red cushioned chair) and preparation of the people (red passports) for the resurrection rapture. There are many mysteries in the Bible and some have discussed the possibility of multiple resurrections.

It includes the resurrection of the saints from the graves following the resurrection of Jesus from the tomb (Matt 27:50-53) and the resurrection rapture at the end time coming of Jesus Christ (1Thess 4: 16-17; 1Cor 15:51 – 54). It is clear from the translation/resurrection of Enoch, Elijah and the two end time witnesses (Rev 11:7-12) that God can do anything and this includes translating or resurrecting His loved ones from the natural dimension of the earth to the spiritual reality of Heaven (Rev 4:1-2).

Heb 11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Biblical and Church histories are dotted with loved ones whom God has taken into the heavens with or without transformed bodies and in visions (Ez 1:1) and dreams.

2Co 12:1 It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.
2Co 12:2 I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such a one caught up to the third heaven.
2Co 12:3 And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;)
2Co 12:4 How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

In multiple resurrections of the people of God there will be saints remaining in the earth after any resurrection until the final one. Here, we humbly recognize that our knowledge is only a tiny drop in the ocean of the unfathomable knowledge and wisdom of God.

1Co 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
1Co 2:8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
1Co 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
1Co 2:10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
1Co 2:11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

The second order resurrection is the general resurrection of those that are dead to God. Being not of the people of the Creator, these are judged before the throne of God and are condemned to the second and eternal spiritual death (Rev 20:11-15).

The Brenda Imus interpretation at one point struck a chord with me.

Brenda said,

" I was given to understand that the 'corners of thy field' represent the
four corners of the earth, and the gleanings represent the field
(world). In other words, the Lord will leave some people behind as
spiritual 'provision' for His chosen ones throughout the entire earth.
He will never leave the world without a witness!"

Last month, (early May, 97), The Lord woke me up. For some reason when he speaks to me at night it has always been 2:00 am. This was no dream or vision. I heard his voice. He spoke with great Love. He asked me, "Jim, if I was to give you a choice between coming Home and escaping the coming troubles or staying, which would you choose?" I considered carefully for I felt the answer was Important. I replied, "If I can further your kingdom and be of service to you than I choose to stay, If not then I desire to escape." I felt His pleasure at my answer. Then I went back to sleep.

I have been giving this much consideration. I have come to the conclusion that I have VOLUNTEERED TO REMAIN ON EARTH AFTER THE RAPTURE!!! I was not able to find any scripture to support this conclusion. I have searched diligently all of the end time scriptures and prophecy's. We have many prophecies of the power of God in individuals who will do battle and be used to preserve the saints during the tribulation time. Where will these individuals come from? The rapture has removed ALL of those who know how to find God and serve him correctly. For the power of God to reside in a vessel that vessel must not be worldly. That is all that is left on earth after the rapture, worldly Christians. At least that is what I believed.

When I read Brenda's scriptures on the corners my spirit leaped so high and so hard it almost took me physically into the air. God will ask for volunteers to stay behind and be his witness and guide his saints and defeat the works of antichrist by exercising His POWER. Some of those will give up their life in order that the saints will learn to die without fear, not because they were defeated, because the POWER of GOD working through them WILL NOT BE DEFEATED.

I must admit I was shocked to see someone else expressing the conclusion I had come to. I am in awe of the mighty GOD we serve.
Jim.

IN A SUBSEQUENT MAIL JIM BLACK WROTE:

"My knowledge and belief of end time events has been destroyed. I am left searching for truth. The only valid source of knowledge is the Holy Spirit. I think I will say, "Look what the Lord hath done" many times in the coming years.

Praise the Lord, this is unbelieveable, LOOK WHAT THE LORD HATH DONE.

Dear Paula,

Your letter from Jim Black nearly sent ME through the roof! This is
exactly the sense/experience that several people from our Friday evening fellowship have had: that the Lord is going to ask us to volunteer to stay behind. We also did not see this reflected in Scripture, and yet it was so very clear within our spirits. . .and then the confirmation that we had when we realized that MOST (not all) of those gathering with us had exactly the same sense!

However, there IS abundant Scriptural reference to this event. As usual, it's hidden RIGHT IN FRONT OF OUR EYES. The Lord has given me these things to understand. Look at these verses:

Matt 24:37-41
37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.
38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark;
39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came
and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.
40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left.
41 Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left. (NIV)

Now we've always been taught that these verses represent the rapture, and that those who are left are unbelievers. BUT THAT'S NOT WHAT JESUS SAYS. He's talking to disciples, explaining carefully that at the time that He returns, SOME WILL BE TAKEN AND SOME WILL BE LEFT.

Interestingly, He equates those who are taken with those who were
carried away in judgment during Noah's day. Isn't this precisely the
opposite of what we've learned in the past regarding this Scripture?
Besides reflecting the fact that at the time of His coming, some will be
left behind--could these Scriptures not indicate that the flood of
deception and ungodliness will sweep many believers away from the
Kingdom of God? When taken in context, it appears that this event could well be devastation for many (as in my dream), and not their salvation.

Notice that in both instances, the people in question WERE BOTH DOING THEIR JOBS. Both men were working in the field. Both women were grinding. Doesn't this speak of those who are working for the kingdom? Yet in each case, only one is taken. In a parallel version in Luke 17, the Lord says two will be in one bed, one will be taken and one will be left. . .Does not two in one bed speak of similarity, or likeness? Intimate fellowship? Again, only one is taken.

Also, there are the Scriptures regarding those who 'love not their lives unto death.' This speaks of those who have told the Lord that they are willing to do WHATEVER HE WANTS, NO MATTER WHAT IT COSTS. These, I believe, will be asked to stay behind and overcome the enemy by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony during the tribulation. Those whom the Spirit is preparing for this ministry aren't going to suddenly 'love not their lives unto death.' Rather, they have ALREADY DECIDED that they will do whatever Jesus wants. They 'follow the Lamb wherever He goes.' And we know that the Lamb. . .goes to the sacrificial altar.

Of course, we still are 'seeing things darkly, as through a glass,' but
the picture seems to be getting a little more clear, day by day.

Is this not also a sign of His soon coming?
Yours in Christ,
Brenda Imus
