Hi Paula!

You interpreted a dream for me several months ago and stated that God was leading me back to a former marriage state. Well, my husband and I are reconciling. We were to attend the final divorce hearing on June 17th. I had made two trips to Ohio for pre-trial hearings, which weren't successful, but my husband began to pray for reconciliation. I wanted to reconcile with him, but he had to want it too. Praise the Lord!!! You were right on! He is the one I saw several times in my dream proposing!

** Yes, we began on the right track in the interpretation of your dreams and lost it a little along the way. We had allowed circumstances to inappropriately influence the rather obvious meaning of the dreams and muddied things somewhat. With regards to intimate personal relationship it is so easy for us to allow our emotions to dictate our dreams rather than just casting our burden upon the Lord with a pure conscience.

Dream 1

It was a night setting. I was traveling in an old community, which I haven't lived in for approximately 10 years. I was traveling slowly in a vehicle (I don't know if I was driving) on a street below a home I used to live in. As I traveled on this street, I turned a sharp corner leading onto a road to the home I used to live in. When I turned onto this street, I noticed several inches of snow was on the street of my former home and I could see tire tracks in the snow.

** The snow only in your former home and not in the community may indicate that God is personally teaching and guiding you (snow representing the instructions of God from heaven according to Isa 55). The tire tracks in the snow represent this guidance. Going back to your old community and old home may represent going back to a former home/family/marriage state from which God will guide you.

Dream 2

I dreamed of a night setting. I had gone to my neighbor's home and was using the phone. I looked over at my home and could see clear through it. I saw each room.

When I returned home there was a group of people whom I didn't recognize in my home. They all wore a Tobogan (hat) on their heads, which were different colors. I was not friends with these people nor did I know them. They were men and women. I wanted these people to leave, but they just sat around talking and ignoring me.

There was a short, well-built man in the bunch. He seemed to be the leader of this group. He stood out because he wore a bright yellow muscle shirt, but it had sleeves like a T-shirt and he turned around so that I could see the entire shirt. I hit him because I wanted him to leave and he balled up his fist and hit me in the face and I fell down.

I kept telling these people to leave, but they totally ignored me. They weren't doing anything except sitting in my living room talking, but they acted as though I wasn't there. Finally they got up and left. They never looked at me or said goodbye, they just left.

As they were walking away, I stood out on the porch to watch them and a blue, old-fashioned mini-van pulled up with a new set of people. A man was driving. I don't know how many were male and how many were female, but they pulled up and started to get out of the van. I thought, "oh no, another bunch!" but I didn't know who they were or what they wanted. All of the people in the mini-van had on a Tobogan hat. They were different colors. Then I woke up.

** Dream 2 may be showing your home situation from the perspective of one looking objectively from the outside (seeing your home clearly from your neighbor’s house). The dream portrayed a situation in relationship (represented by the group of men and women in your house) that has forced itself upon you that you do not like. It could involve someone (man with yellow muscle shirt) with whom you have had a dramatic altercation (exchanged blows with). The dream may be warning you that this situation could happen again. In this case you have been warned so that you put in place things that will prevent it happening again. The man in the yellow muscle shirt could also represent a strong man or spiritual principality that you may need to pray about for the Lord to defeat from influencing your life. Then things will outwork constructively to establish the things of the Kingdom of Christ in your life, family and home.

What do you think about this? I am trying to determine if this is literal or spiritual? I have a divorce hearing coming up on April 05th in Ohio. This is not my choice. My husband filed.

I dreamed I saw a man kneeling down in front of me and I think he asked me to marry him. He had on a wide brim hat. Next, I saw a ring. The band was gold with two hearts full of diamonds...

** In times of emotional turmoil natural dreams can arise that is best ignored unless they line up with what previous dreams have been saying. Your submitted previous dream was interpreted to be saying that something you do not like in your relationship is going to force itself on your household and that you were returning to a previous marriage state. The good news is that from here you will have divine guidance (snow at the home).

The dream above is about a man kneeling in front of you and YOU THINK that he was asking you to marry him. This does not harmonize with the message of your previous dream nor with real life circumstances. This is not an easy situation in real life but the Comforter will guide you. Paula,

I went to the divorce hearing in Ohio on April 05th. It turned out to be a pre-trial hearing only because my husband doesn't want to pay monies that he owes me so the judge scheduled a final hearing. He says he will make the decision then.

I was reviewing a dream I sent you about a gold wedding band with two adjoined diamond hearts. Then I saw, what I thought was someone kneeling in front of me asking me to marry him.

I get a strong sense that my husband is planning to marry another woman after our divorce is final. He seemed like a stranger to me. He didn't even look like the same person I had seen in October. He is fat and old and his expression spelled "sin and darkness." It was really weird seeing him look like that.

I believe that particular dream was about him. I'll wait to see.

Hi Paula,

A couple of evenings ago I was sitting on the couch watching TBN. T.D. Jakes was ministering. I drifted off to sleep and dreamed of a bride in a beautiful white wedding gown. Her vail was covering her face. The bride was kneeling at the altar below T.D. Jakes as though she was praying. Her groom was next to her wearing a black tuxedo, but I didn't see him, I just saw his tuxedo. He was kneeling, too. When I woke up, T.D. Jakes was still preaching. The platform in my dream looked like the same platform that he was ministering on.

Any clue what this means?

** You have sent a few dreams where the theme had to do with you being asked for marriage or you getting married as in this dream. Good morning Paula, just a quick email before I go to University. I just want to let you know that the interpretation and the guidance you gave me concerning my dream was spot on. You said "The following companion scripture (Eph 4:1-7) may help give you understanding and guidance concerning the things that are happening in your local church. That is, there is need for consolidation and unity in the bond of peace with mutual respect for one another’s unique character, gift and ability in the fellowship of the communion of believers." Well, first thing Sunday morning (after receiving your email Saturday night) before church I prayed that the body of Christ and my locul church would appreciate one anothers' gifts and calling and be bound together in peace and in unity of the Spirit according to the interpretation and the guidance you gave. That morning in church the minister began to prophesy and discuss that "as members of the (local) church we need to value one anothers' gifts and calling" and communion was also focused on each member having different characteristics but we are all of the same Spirit.

Wow, what a wonderful blessing and rest in God I had yesterday during church. The experience has really lifted me in the area intimacy between the Lord and I and also from faith to faith. Thanks again for your guidance Paula.

There are two things that are significant about the baby name Perez (regarding the move of the Spirit in the coming days):

Genesis 38:29

But when he drew back his hand, his brother came out, and she said, "So this is how you have broken out!" And he was named Perez. [ Perez means breaking out. ] ...these people will break out forcefully, suddenly!

Ruth 4:12

Through the offspring the LORD gives you by this young woman, may your family be like that of Perez, whom Tamar bore to Judah." [his offspring were numerous]...these followers of Christ will have markedly numerous disciples, many spiritual offspring.

Another thing that is highlighted by the dream is that these folks will operate in the anointing, power of the Holy Spirit very quickly after their conversion. They will grow in Christ miraculously, being taught and fed of the Lord directly and being supernaturally hungry for God's Word. People will say, "that person has only been a Christian for such and such long, how can this be, that he is teaching, preaching, healing and making disciples for Christ already?! Wasn't it just 5 years ago that he/she was a prisoner, drug addict, street person, outcast?" Supernatural maturity will be a distinguishing mark of this group.
