Dream possibly revealing the results of the Fiji General Elections and giving instructions
for the healing of the nation. Dream by P on 07 May 2006 and interpretation by Paula
Cavu.
Background:
Although I live in Australia, I have been praying about and following political progress in
Fiji leading up to the elections that is currently in progress. I received this dream last
night, after polling began yesterday. Counting will begin on Monday 15 May and the
results should be known by Thursday 18 May. Elections in Fiji has traditionally been
along racial lines; the two major races being indigenous Fijians (54% of the population)
and Indians originally from India (37% of the population).
Dream:
Part 1
I was travelling on a bus to a far away place in the North - rather like going to Savusavu,
a town in northern Fiji where my family has a property. I was surprised to see a Fijian
family with kids in the bus. I wondered why they were going to such a remote part of
Australia where no Fijian would have settled. In real life the father Iliesa was an ex-
policeman from Fiji and had worked for a security company in Brisbane, Australia.
** Iliesa’s background in the police force and the security firm qualifies him in dream
language to represent the indigenous nationalistic movement in Fiji. The spirit of this
movement is embodied by the Soqosoqo Duavata ni Lewenivanua Party (SDL) that came
into power in the elections following the 2000 coup. The Fiji Labour Party (FLP),
champion of the aspirations of the Indian community, was forcibly removed from power
in the coup and it lost the following elections.
During one of the stops, I managed to talk with the mother of the family. Iliesa appeared
to be avoiding me which was uncharacteristic. In the course of our conversation she
blurted out that her husband had committed rape in their community or village. I was
shocked and figured that this was why they were going North - to get as far away as
possible from the stigma of the crime that came at great cost to the whole family. They
were basically being uprooted from their community and are going to start their lives all
over again.
** The banishment of the Fijian family to a remote part of the country may be indicating
Fiji’s nationalistic movement’s abdication of the seat of power in the present national
elections. That is, it will have to start all over again in the opposition side of parliament.

** The reason for this loss had to do with the Fijian nationalistic movement’s primary
role in the coup of year 2000. Appropriately the coup was symbolized in dream language
by rape (use of force to achieve an outcome) that occurred in the Fijian village-
community.
I made my way to Iliesa and told him that God can forgive him. He turned his head away
and said, “God will not forgive me.” I insisted that He can and I mentally did a search of
examples from the Bible where God had forgiven rape. I couldn’t find any specific
example but rape easily fitted into other drastic sins like murder which God forgave with
certain individuals like Saul, who then became the Apostle Paul.
However, Iliesa was adamant that he could not be forgiven and had resigned himself to it.
I was not getting through to him about a forgiving God and the bus started moving. As he
made his way back to his seat I called out that God can forgive him. And to emphasize
my conviction I repeated the word, FORGIVE.
** The dream is showing that healing between the races following the 2000 coup is
possible, although the indigenous Fijian movement does not believe that the Indians –
represented by FLP - can actually forgive.
The dream alludes to the fact that the Indians can actually forgive the Fijians for the coup
(rape). Emphasis on the word FORGIVE indicates that forgiveness between the races is
the way for healing. This may indicate a direction to the victors of the elections (FLP
alliance) to support the Reconciliation, Tolerance and Unity bill (RUT bill) proposed by
SDL that has riled them as victims of the 2000 coup.
Part 2
I was in a large office building like a bank when an army of intruders invaded. I was in an
obscured position so I darted to the corridor at the back of the office - not such a good
idea because the intruders also entered in by the back door. They did not see me so I
slipped back into a corner of the office and climbed on to the rafters. I hoped that if I kept
still no one will look up and see me.
I saw the intruders rounding up the staff and clients and understood that they had secured
the whole property. Some of the intruders were writing things down on paper about the
people captured or about the event.
Suddenly one started looking at the rafters. Before his eyes reached me I reached into my
shirt pocket and got a piece of paper and pen. I then jumped down just as he noticed me. I
then confidently walked to one of the victims and demanded his personal details as if I
was one of the invaders. This worked because it was a hastily rounded up army of
indigenous Fijians where not everybody knew each other well.
I then made my way to the front door where I saw that a group of unemployed men, who
normally just hung around the city, had been drafted to inconspicuously hang around the
perimeter of the compound as guards. They were committed to the cause of the intruders.
Posing as one of them, I made my way out to the road.
Then it was as if I was Iliesa. As I walked, I thought that if I got away and reported the
invasion to the authorities, I would redeem myself from the crime I had committed.
** Part 2 of the dream above represents a portrayal of the coup that took place in 2000. In
a language of the mystery of dreams, the bank building complex represented Fiji’s House
of Parliament where the coup actually took place in real life. Reporting to the authorities
may be referring to confession, resolution and forgiveness, in line with the truth and
justice campaign conducted by the Fiji Military Forces. This is an integral part of
‘healing of the nation’ process.
2Ch 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and
pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven,
and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

going on in my life right now! I am hoping the LORD will guide you through what I have

CHRIST AND TO THE KINGDOM OF GOD!! GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR

4/17/06 IST DREAM
A flea market just showed up in my path.
** This is a portrayal of God saying, “Come buy of me…”
I went in many rooms. There were old clothes, and old toys.
** Old clothes and old toys speak of the proven and biblical old ways of relationship with
children that involves character (old clothes), peace and joy (old toys).
Then we went into this one room, my husband and I, there was a white tent sitting up
high. It was sitting up on something. It was so cool it had a sliding board on top of it
where you could slide into a pool!
Then I went into the next room, wow there was a huge huge huge tent up top ( white ) I
mean it went up high to the sky. Then there was this huge huge huge pool not cement, it
was an above ground pool; it was like all the way to the top of this huge building. There
was a huge slide going from the tent into the pool. There was this lady helping me
straighten the material on the slide for the kids to slide down. It was the coolest thing I
had ever seen!
I ask this lady ( I never saw her face ) how much this thing cost thinking it would be so
much money, but she said $ 200.00 - wow I was so excited because it was so cheap! I
told my friend sherry, we can get this, we can buy one!!!! We can afford this! The
building may have been a place were they keep airplane.
** The white tent could speak of a new direction at work or ministry that involves
leading others to be immersed in the leading of the Spirit of God (slide going from tent to
pool). You will indeed buy this or receive this from the Lord. The portrayal was repeated
twice in the two rooms and this meant that it will take place shortly.
4/26/06 1ST DREAM
I was pregnant ready to give birth along with a few other women. It was like we were
flying behind something maybe an airplane ( I'm not sure ) we were holding on to this
pole or something as we were being pulled as we flew.
There were four women in the front then there was a back row with five women.
One of the front pregnant let go it was time for her to give birth. Then another lady let go
with her, she was not pregnant she was the one who was going to deliver the baby, she
had delivered many babies. They ended up at the hospital.
I was saying, “Who is going to delivery my baby?” I really wanted the more experienced
lady. There was another lady that could delivery my baby but she was new at it!
I went to the front bar because there would be more room. I remember pushing on some
of the pregnant women with my feet because it would help them with their contractions. I
was pretty sure the more experienced lady would be done with the other delivery before I
got up there.
** Pregnant women and delivery can speak of successful ministry from which many will
be born-again. Perhaps you are pregnant with a new direction in work or ministry that
will involve working with others in leading many to the Lord. Delivery of the new
direction will take place soon.
2ND DREAM IN THE SAME NIGHT
Flying looking for my mother (by phone) I was flying over Kentucky.
Remember this one girl saying, “I cannot wait for this to be a movie.” She was talking
about this picture of mine. The picture was on a card. I remember thinking I did not want
her reading my stuff! The picture was the very first picture that came out of a woman on
the first loaf of bread, remember she had dark hair and a beautiful blue dress!!! royal
blue.
** Your picture on a card and the girl who wanted a movie of you, alluded to your life or
calling in life concerning young folks. You were being identified with the Word of God
(bread) and the Spirit of Truth (blue dress) as that which constitute your ministry. That is,
you will embody the direct teaching and leading of the Spirit of God and make an impact
in people’s lives.

GUIDELINES TO THE POSTING OF DREAMS AND INTERPRETATIONS ON THE
D&V LIST.
In the D&V List we only want to focus on what the Spirit of God is saying to the
churches in dreams and visions of the sleep state, in visions of trance states induced by
God and in divinely given "open vision." The two primary aims for the D&V List are:
1. DECLARATION - Declaring what the Spirit is saying to the churches in Dreams
and Visions.
2. DISCIPLESHIP - Teaching Christians to discern the teaching of the Holy Spirit in
the interpretation of Dreams and Visions.
Please send in Dreams and Visions in the body of your email that will serve these
purposes. DO NOT SEND ATTACHMENTS.
With regards to interpretation, we welcome possible interpretations, alternative meanings,
corrections and additions. However, there will be a flow in agreement of that which the
Lord is saying in dreams and visions from around the world at particular times.
Generally, postings on the List will be done in harmony with the flow of this River.
Accordingly, God given dreams and visions need to be interpreted from the content and
"vocabulary" of the dreams and visions themselves.
Interpretations must also be made in relation to the whole dream or vision and not to just
an isolated part thereof. In this way the D&V List postings will try to avoid any particular
doctrinal bias that has no credible relation to the dreams or visions posted. Thus, in order
for interpretations and comments from mails to be posted, they will have to contain
credible witness from the whole dream or vision and from relevant scriptures.
