FIJI DAYSTAR MINISTRY REPORT on Thurs. 21 June, 2001

The two nights of seminars at the Lautoka Pentecostal Church were such a wonderful blessing for all. The leadership and the people recognize that there is an attainable level of communion with God in which all spiritual blessings in Christ Jesus can be realized and possessed. After the first seminar the present leader and father (Ps John Dass) of the Pentecostal Church of Fiji said, “If only we can attain to that which you are teaching.” I immediately replied that they can and they will, just as it has begun to be in significant evidence at the Hindi speaking Calvary Temple Church at Lautoka, in the Hindi speaking Glad Tidings Church of Nadi and in the Fijian speaking Living Waters Church at Tavua.  As for the second night of the seminar, if anyone had any doubt about the teaching, they were certainly dispelled forever. The Spirit moved wonderfully so that towards the end of the session the people were really enjoying hearing from the Spirit in the interpretation of scriptures with hidden meanings and in the interpretation of dreams. The night concluded with the folks interpreting my dream about the future make up of the government following the elections due on 25th August, 2001. Well, you can imagine how awesome that was as they realized that God can really show “things to come” concerning anything that involves his people. The great response to the presiding pastor’s altar call, the background anointed music and singing of skillful musicians, the prayers over yielded and weeping vessels all contributed to an amazing night of the work of God.  Ps John Dass said that about 250 people were at the first seminar. If this was so then about 300 folks turned up for the second night’s seminar.

I had to disappoint a couple of pastors who wanted me to come and speak at their meetings because I could not fit them into my schedule. A couple of the musicians that missed out in the altar call because they were singing, pressed in to speak to me after the meeting about the excitement in their hearts. One music leader followed me with her friends to the house where I went for another cup of tea and fellowship with the family of an old school friend who is the General Manager for the Fiji Sugar Corporation in Lautoka. All she wanted was to be prayed for in order that that God moved in her life in accordance with that which was taught.

I was reminded of the awe, wonder and excitement of the people in India back in the early 1980’s when God would heal and deliver mightily under a special anointing for signs, wonders and miracles. Only this time the same wonder and excitement was for a special work of the Spirit under an anointing to establish them in credible and verifiable communion with God, in which are available all God’s spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ! Halleluiah!!!

Folks, a special and wonderful River of God is flowing that will make glad the city of God (Church) and I feel not to stop but to continue in earnest to go forth to the churches and proclaim the truth of this River! In fact, a dream has revealed that God has given Daystar Ministry a promotion amongst the “commander ranks” of his end time ministers. Let us pray accordingly that God chosen doors will continue to open and God chosen apostles will be raised up to call people into the River that is flowing from the throne of God at this very time! The purpose of God for this Daystar Trip to Fiji is now basically completed.

Tonight and tomorrow night, I will be speaking at a struggling church between Lautoka and Ba. Pastor Hemraj Mangal often sends me to problem churches that need encouraging. On Sunday I will be speaking at the English speaking session of the Full Gospel Church at Lautoka. On Tuesday I will be on the plane bound for much lovingly anticipated reunion with my wife and son and with the Daystar Team in Brisbane. God bless you all! All glory, honour, thanksgiving and praise are His alone! Amen!

IF THE GIANT MOOSE REPRESENTS THE SPIRIT AND HIS GREATLY MANIFESTED POWER that is resident and available in the river of the direct communion of God, then the churches that have their folks in this river will be greatly blessed of God. This blessing is coming in the form of being partakers of the Bride of Christ that is being promised marriage or oneness with Christ. Dream by Gavin Porter on 11 June, 2001.

CIRCUMSTANCES
Paula has just begun the second leg of his ministry trip in Fiji after a break of a few days. The Daystar Team has been praying fervently concerning Paula’s ministry trip to Fiji.

DREAM
I was at a park with some friends.  I suggested we go down to the river water's edge to see a moose I knew would be there. We went down to the  water's edge and saw a large moose there with a quite large set of antlers. We were amazed by the size of the antlers, as they were the largest we had ever seen. There was another animal or animals with the moose.

One of the people with me went into the water a little way away from the moose we had seen. Just then an enormous moose rose out of the water.  The size of this moose left the previous moose as a midget.  This moose had an enormous set of completely formed antlers.  The moose then began to chase the man in the water and while we thought it was going to attack him, the moose was really herding him with his antlers along the river and away somewhere.

We ran away into the town close by with the moose in pursuit.  I ran into a Department store (like Myers) and went behind a square counter with an open centre that the shop assistants usually stand inside.  The others with me ran to other parts of the store.

The moose came inside and around the side of the square counter where I was.  It was then that the moose gave some sort of instructions to a shop assistant to get organised a very expensive diamond ring.  This was a once off offer for the wife of the man that went into the river.  The shop assistant was getting the ring and filling in the paperwork.  I noticed on another piece of paper that the date of the day on the paper had this expensive ring ($ thousands) listed for sale for  $105. It was an amazing price and sequence of events that were taking place.   This was going to be a very special surprise for this man's wife. The end

 PAULA’S COMMENT

Ps 42: 1. To the chief Musician, Maschil, for the sons of Korah. AS THE HART PANTETH AFTER THE WATER BROOKS, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.
2 My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?

The moose is a large deer or hart. Since the Daystar group has been praying for Paula’s ministry in Fiji, the moose could represent the work of God in incurring a great thirst of the people of Fiji for the river of hearing God’s communion directly. Gavin, representing the Daystar Team, has been hearing about the work of the Spirit in this ministry (I suggested we go down to the river water's edge to see a moose I knew would be there). The dream is saying that the power of God (antlers) involved in the first part of the ministry will be great (the size of the antlers, as they were the largest we had ever seen).

The dream is saying that those who step into the river of the direct communion of God in the current ministry will discover an even greater work of the Spirit in their lives (The size of this moose left the previous moose as a midget.  This moose had an enormous set of completely formed antlers). This majestic work of the Spirit will provide motivation for people to go forward in their spiritual development and to go forth in the instruction of God in their lives through their direct communion with Him (the moose was really herding him with his antlers along the river and away somewhere).

The Daystar Team as represented by Gavin and the folks with him are also partakers of the majestic work of the Spirit in motivating those in direct communion with God to run forth into the churches (stores)  in the work of the ministry. (We ran away into the town close by with the moose in pursuit.  I ran into a Department store)

If the giant moose represents the Spirit and His greatly manifested power (an enormous set of completely formed antlers) that is resident and available in the river of the direct communion of God then the churches (wife of the man in the river) that have their folks in this river will be greatly blessed of God. This blessing is coming in the form of being partakers of the Bride of Christ that is being promised marriage or oneness with Christ. (the moose gave some sort of instructions to a shop assistant to get organised a very expensive diamond ring.)

Looks like it is the time of God’s visitation for the churches of Fiji. (This was a once off offer for the wife of the man that went into the river)

Isa 55: 6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

SPECIAL APPEAL FROM PASTOR JONE LESU FOR THE COMPLETION OF THEIR BUILDING PROJECT, which has stalled due to the political and economic crisis in Fiji.

Date: 22 June, 2001

My name is Pastor Jone Lesu of Ba AG Church Centre. I am appealing for help to finish our stalled building project. Two thirds of the building has been built but we have run out of funds due to the political and economic crisis in Fiji. We still need $24,086 Fijian dollars for completion and would appreciate donations large and small.

I have been working in the country town of Ba as a full time pastor since 1980. As a church, we have been working mainly amongst the indigenous Fijian people and have also helped Indo-Fijian pastors reach out to the Indo-Fijians. We have established mission stations in the villages of the interior of the main island of Fiji.

As a result of the political, economic and social crisis in Fiji since the coup of May 2000, we have opened an orphanage in Ba which has 12 children aged between 3 months and 2 years. We also help other victims such as lone parents and widows with food and groceries.

We would like to invite those who donate to our building project to come and visit the church. Church ministers would be welcome to come and minister to us. Paula Cavu of Daystar Ministry has ministered twice in our church and he has seen the incomplete structure of our church building. Please contact me or send donations to the address below. Thank you so much!
