Daystar Ministry           Daystar Ministry for Prophecy, Dreams and Visions
2010 July-August Fiji Ministry Report – Paula Cavu

I returned safely last night after a very interesting trip indeed. I and my family have been separated from local church fellowship for 2 years in which I pursued Internet ministry, enlightenment of the Word of Scripture and prayer. It appeared that a change of ministry depth and anointing resulted as the spiritual climate of Daystar Ministry moved from hibernation of Winter to Spring.

The invitation from Pastor Hemraj Mangal from Promised Land AOG for the opening of their new, beautiful and large church (capacity to seat about 500) in Lautoka, Fiji was the beginning of the new season. Beginning with Ps Hemraj, all pastors and churches I ministered at, saw and acknowledged the new depth and anointing. The people heard the Spirit of God more clearly and the accompanying manifestation, favour and power of God were enjoyed by people.

For example, a quiet and reserved man in Savusavu was praying early one morning following one of my teaching sessions when he heard the audible voice of the Lord tell him to go to his wife. He obeyed and saw his wife in pain from the sickness and stiffness of her legs. He prayed and she was instantly healed. He was so awed and excited that he ran all the way to his brother's home, who was a pastor, just to share what had happened.

His brother was a co-pastor of a church but he turned up to my meeting at another church on the following Sunday morning - He wanted to be soaked in the teaching even more and only drove back to his church after my teaching. At my sessions at his church, his daughters and wife along with many others responded delightfully in the discipleship sessions to hear the Holy Spirit and dreamed directions and encouragement for the local church.

There appeared to be a revival happening amongst the Indian churches I attended. A couple of demonic manifestation and subsequent deliverance occurred relatively effortlessly. Salvation, water baptisms and growth are happening. By the last night of my stay in Savusavu, an invitation for dinner only led to a number of people gathering to hear me speak before we had dinner. Later that night I had to go and join 2 pastors minister to a couple that needed serious guidance. I had received a dream concerning this couple even before I met them.

I guess I left Savusavu before the pressure of spontaneous invitations and ministry got the better of me. Now that I am back in Brisbane, I am wondering if I should have stayed and see the fledgling revival widen a bit more in Fiji.

I have not been responding to invitation from India in the last 2 years but now I feel ready to go when the means are met. Shoring up the depth and anointing of Daystar Ministry in the will and direction of the Lord is the current Spring and Summer time for Daystar.

While at Savusavu, I met the pastor of a large church in Suva who was there in his capacity as a manager for Carpenters. He wanted me to minister at his church in Suva the next Sunday but I was already committed. He has basically booked me for the next time I come to Fiji. Up to now Daystar Ministry has not directly impacted Suva, the capital of Fiji. Clarence Marae of Vanuatu who was at the church opening at Lautoka has also enquired about Paula going to minister in that country.

I want to thank all of you for your prayers and particularly Gavin Porter for work on the web site. There is a chance that more people in Fiji are accessing the web site than before. All glory and honour to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ for the works of the Spirit of God!

Fond regards,
Paula Cavu
