Ministry for Prophecy, Dreams and VisionsLast days warning on Famine and the Destruction of Babylon
The dream is saying that the provision of Babylon is
not as abundant as it appears (mirror that made the garden look more abundant
than it was). It is
warning not only of actual food provision as in a famine, but it is warning
about all provisions of modern life. The apparent abundance due to the mirror
does pertain to stock markets of the nations that speculate on commercial assets.
Dream by Peter M. and interpretations by Peter and Paula Cavu
From: Peter M.
Subject: Famine dream
G'day. I had this dream on 15th June. 6 days into a 21 day fast..
I was in a big compound where there were all sorts of people, good and not
so good but all were in peace basically except for the usual troubles. (The
world ) There was a big building there that everybody used to do whatever it
was they were doing. (commerce). It was a prosperous place.
There was a massive vegetable garden out the back of this building with all
the things you can think of growing. It was an excellent garden, it seemed
that there was nothing left out. There were people in the garden working, good
and bad. I was with a group of men who were saying how good the garden was,
they were just men, there was nothing different or special about them.
But I was about a foot taller than them and could see the garden just over
the top of a rise that they couldn't see. The garden looked like it went back
for a long, long way but I could see that there were a wall of mirrors facing
back our way in the middle of it to give the illusion that is was a lot bigger
than it really was. I thought these people are being conned.
Then I found myself in a large river under the building. I was just under
the surface and there was a herd of about 20 or so Elephants walking towards
me but about 200 feet below me on the bottom of this river. I thought these
are not good but if they stay on the bottom and keep walking then it's not
so bad. They will take some time to get to me if they wanted to because they
are so big and slow.
Then all of a sudden they started to swim to the surface at an amazing speed
and I had to get out of their way. They were not good elephants. (bad spirits
hidden in the world just waiting for their time to attack) They came up through
the building and all spread out. Each one seemed to know where they were going
and they raced into the garden. I don't know much about Elephants but I know
they eat a lot of food. I ran out the back to try to scare them off and succeeded
in getting one to leave by throwing a cauliflower at it. And it actually worked
to my surprise. (sacrifice something that costs little to secure some food
and whatever else you need. It will pay off big in the very near future.)
I do believe that this is a warning of famine. The situation in the Gulf
of USA will be devastation to the food chain and whatever is going on will
affect the whole worlds food supply. (I would recommend that if you have
nothing stored up then now would be a good time?)
Wider interpretation by Paula Cavu
The Spirit of God has and is speaking to Christians around the world teaching
and warning about end times. The prosperous place in your dream appeared
to be well provided for (massive vegetable garden out the back of this building
with all the things you can think of growing) and it had a big building where
the people conducted their everyday business.
There were also good and bad people in this place so that overall it could
very well be portraying Babylon, the great city of the book of Revelation
(chapter 18). Babylon represented world trade and commerce and therefore
embodied world economies and commercial markets. The fact that natural
Babylon of the Old Testament was known as a place of beautiful gardens,
lends further
credibility to this insight.
Rev 18:11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her;
for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:
Rev 18:12 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and
of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all
thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels
of most precious
wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,
Rev 18:13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense,
and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep,
and horses,
and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.
Rev 18:14 And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from
thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee,
and
thou shalt find them no more at all.
As the dreamer you were able to see above others because of the prophetic gift of the Spirit that you have. The dream is saying that the provision of Babylon is not as abundant as it appears (mirror that made the garden look more abundant than it was). It is warning not only of actual food provision as in a famine, but it is warning about all provisions of modern life. The apparent abundance due to the mirror does pertain to stock markets of the nations that speculate on commercial assets.
Rev 18:15 The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall
stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing.
The actions of elephants from the large river under the big building represent
emphatic warning about huge and swift destruction upon the provisions of
Babylon. The destroyers (elephants) will come in like a flood upon Babylon.
(Then all of a sudden they started to swim to the surface at an amazing
speed and I had to get out of their way. They were not good elephants.
They came
up through the building and all spread out. Each one seemed to know where
they were going and they raced into the garden.)
Jer 22:7 And I will prepare destroyers against thee, every one with his
weapons: and they shall cut down thy choice cedars, and cast them into
the fire
This scenario is reminiscent of the destroying Army of the Lord in the prophecy of Joel:
Joe 2:1 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain:
let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh,
for it is nigh at hand;
Joe 2:2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick
darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a
strong; there
hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to
the years of many generations.
Joe 2:3 A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the
land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness;
yea, and nothing shall escape them.
Joe 2:4 The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen,
so shall they run.
Joe 2:5 Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap,
like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong
people set in battle array.
Joe 2:6 Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall
gather blackness.
Joe 2:7 They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men
of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break
their ranks:
Joe 2:8 Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his
path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.
Joe 2:9 They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall,
they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like
a thief.
Joe 2:10 The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the
sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:
Joe 2:11 And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp
is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the
LORD
is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?
As there were good and bad people in the place, garden and building of prosperity in your dream, the warning for good people of God to come out of it applies:
Rev 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her,
my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive
not of her
plagues.
Rev 18:5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her
iniquities.
Rev 18:6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double
according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.
Rev 18:7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much
torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and
am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.
Rev 18:8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning,
and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the
Lord God who judgeth her.
