Daystar Ministry for Prophecy, Dreams and Visions
Our Interpretations of the Exercises for Your Guidance
Index:
Biblical vocabulary for the language of dreams, visions and prophecy constitutes that which is used in the Bible. The Old Testament scriptures are steeped in the language of symbolism, metaphors, typologies, analogies, allegories and parables which are of the language of dreams, visions and prophecy. This is also true of the parables of Jesus and of the book of Revelation.
In Chapter 9 of the book on 'Dreams and Visions with a difference for all believers', I have listed some of the Biblical vocabulary of the language of dreams, visions and prophecy that Daystar Ministry has encountered. The interpretations of the Biblical words are just some of the possibilities. This list is only there to help you grow and develop in the ministry of dreams, visions, prophecy and their interpretations. The Holy Spirit is the one you can safely trust to guide you into all the truths of the dreams and visions of God. The Lord may use both the vocabulary of the Bible and your own personal vocabulary to speak to you in dreams and visions.
Personal vocabulary and language of the Spirit
In His parables Jesus used the life, environment, sociology and culture of the people of the time to speak of the Spiritual things of heaven. This was also true of all the prophets of the Bible, both in the Old Testament and also in the New Testament. In the same way, God would use our own lives, environment, sociology and culture to speak to us in dreams and visions. Because the Lord would use the uniqueness of our life, environment and culture when He speaks to us in dreams and visions, we may call this our personal language of the Spirit. As we grow and develop in the communion of God in dreams and visions, we will also grow in our familiarity with the personal language of the Spirit that God would use to speak to us.
A mode of transport in the time of Moses and in the time of Jesus was the donkey. In our present culture God may not use a donkey but a car or even an airplane when He is referring to a mode of transport. The donkey belongs to the era of Biblical vocabulary whereas the car and plane belong to the period of twentieth century vocabulary. Instead of using the sword, spear, bow and arrow to represent things of warfare to us in the twentieth century, the Lord could alternatively use guns, bombs and missiles.
The school that you went to as a child may often come up in your dreams to represent the church or denomination that you first attended. The school may also represent the church you are now attending. The connecting thread for Spiritual perception here is the fact that the school was your home of learning and your home church is our home of Spiritual learning. A hospital could represent a church that is involved in healing and in caring for people. A warship could represent a church that wars against others in things like criticism. Your Dad or your pastor in a dream could represent your heavenly Father. A natural sister in a dream could represent a spiritual sister from your local church.
A vehicle which can take you from place to place could come forth in your dreams to represent your ministry which could also take you from place to place. A bicycle could speak of a small ministry whereas a bus would speak of a large ministry. A four wheel drive vehicle would speak of a groundbreaking and powerful ministry, whereas a train could speak of a great movement of the Spirit of God in the churches.
Buildings are often used to represent churches and our homes may represent our local church. We remember from the Tabernacle and Temple of God that every aspect of the house had a purpose and a meaning. The basic rooms and parts of a building also have purpose and meaning in dreams. The kitchen is the place for cooking meals and so it could represent the place of preparation for teaching and preaching. The dining room, which is the place of feeding, could stand for the actual ministry of teaching or preaching. The bedroom with the bed is the place of rest and it could represent the place and ministry of dreams and visions. The roof, the glass window and the verandah could speak of revelation. The Lord may use both the vocabulary of the Bible and your own personal vocabulary to speak to you in dreams and visions.

Last packet of seed - the last focus or emphasis of the prophetic ministry
The voice - the word of the Lord The voice was pointing out the fact that this last area of ministry was very special and very important.
Daystar Ministry, as with all that have a prophetic calling, must now be totally involved in this one area of ministry. May I advance the suggestion that this is the area of the teaching and discipling of all believers to hear and know the Holy Spirit. For it is the Spirit who will perfectly teach us and perfectly reveal the person and the ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ.
"I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you" (Jn.16:12-15).
This Daystar Home Page is about this one crop field. This prophetic field and prophetic area of ministry will be planted in the days of the activities of the presumptuous and mischievous false prophets, who will be seeking to destroy the harvest of the outpouring of God's Spirit.
Interpretation exercises from the scriptures
I need to emphasize that biblical prophecy, dreams and visions do not need to have just one interpretation. The scriptures are not rigid letters of God's word. They are also spirit and life (Jn.6:63) and have that property of water about them whereby they are able to fit into the spiritual oneness of the whole of the River of Scripture.
Interpretation Vocabulary
Cake of barley bread - the bread of heaven; Jesus Christ; the Word of God
The host of Midian - enemy of God's people; the kingdom of darkness
A tent - the household or kingdom of the enemy
Smote and overturn tent - utterly destroy the kingdom of the enemy

A stone - Jesus Christ the rock and stone; the Word of God
Cut out without hands - not born of man, neither working according to the will of man
The image - the god of the nations of the world
Feet - that which supports; foundation
Iron and clay - strength which is of the earth or of the world and of the kingdom of darkness
In a general sense, Judges 7:13 and Daniel 2:34 have the same message for the god of this world and his kingdom!
