The Rains and Rivers are the Biblical Vocabulary for the Outpouring of God's Spirit for Blessing and Great Harvest

New! 6th May 1997

The Rains and Rivers are the Biblical vocabulary for the outpouring of God's Spirit and favour for great blessing and great harvest

In these days when the antichrist spirit of the world is doing its utmost to muddy the Word of God by yet another onslaught through the politically correct language movement, Spiritual Christians are going to excel in adherence to the exactness of the words of Scripture. Prophets and apostles in particular have a calling to guide and instruct the Church in the words of the scriptures which embody the Spirit and the life of the words of God. These are the words of the scriptures that The Holy Spirit used in the Bible and which He also uses in dreams, visions and prophecy.

We have studied from the Bible that the vocabulary of great "storms" and tidal "waves" overwhelmingly embody the judgment of God. This study will show that "rains" and "rivers" are the Biblical words that the Holy Spirit uses specifically for the outpouring of God's Spirit and favour for great blessings and great harvest. This is true of the Bible and should also be true of God given dreams, visions and prophecy.

To date Christians all over the world are receiving dreams, visions and prophecies about great storms and tidal waves. This points to God's present time of judgment and purging. When Christians all over the world begin to receive a similar proliferation of dreams, visions and prophecies about great rains and overflowing rivers, God's promised outpouring of His Spirit for great blessings and great harvest will be upon us!

Dream about the oil and rain of the outpouring of God's Spirit for "The New Work of God," received by Paula M. Cavu on 31st March 1983

There was a requirement from the sovereign God for me to take the bucket of oil from the woman that was standing before me. I was to take the bucket and pour it all into the dry well before which we were standing. Not really understanding but obedient, I took the bucket of oil from the woman and began to pour it into the dry well. I observed how the oil spread over the dry bottom of the well and I marvelled at the amount of oil that was in the bucket.

As the oil was poured, rain descended from the heavens. I observed the last drops of oil dropping into the well. Oil and water mixed together in the well. A tap seemed to open like the opening of a motorized irrigation pipe and oil poured into the well. The rain was very heavy and soon a flooded river was flowing in the land.

The well of oil was now in the midst of the river and oil was flowing from it into the river. There was a continual flow of oil from the irrigation pipe and there was a continual overflowing of oil from the well into the river. The rain just kept pouring down.

The rains of the promised land are for the harvest and blessing of corn, wine and oil

Deut 11:11

But the land, whither ye go to possess it, is a land of hills and valleys, and drinketh water of the rain of heaven:

Deut 11:12

A land which the LORD thy God careth for: the eyes of the LORD thy God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year.

Deut 11:13

And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently unto my commandments which I command you this day, to love the LORD your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul,

Deut 11:14

That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil.

Deut 11:15

And I will send grass in thy fields for thy cattle, that thou mayest eat and be full.

The promised land will yield her fruit only when there is an outpouring of the rains of heaven

Deut 11:16

Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them;

Deut 11:17

And then the LORD's wrath be kindled against you, and he shut up the heaven, that there be no rain, and that the land yield not her fruit; and lest ye perish quickly from off the good land which the LORD giveth you.

Deut 11:18

Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes.

The rain from heaven is the rain of the direct word of God upon the Church and upon humanity

Deut 32:1

Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.

Deut 32:2

My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass:

God's people who are purged out of adversity and affliction will hear God directly and shall receive the rain for the great harvest

Isa 30:20

And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers:

Isa 30:21

And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

Isa 30:22

Ye shall defile also the covering of thy graven images of silver, and the ornament of thy molten images of gold: thou shalt cast them away as a menstruous cloth; thou shalt say unto it, Get thee hence.

Isa 30:23

Then shall he give the rain of thy seed, that thou shalt sow the ground withal; and bread of the increase of the earth, and it shall be fat and plenteous: in that day shall thy cattle feed in large pastures.

Isa 30:24

The oxen likewise and the young asses that ear the ground shall eat clean provender, which hath been winnowed with the shovel and with the fan.

Isa 30:25

And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall.

Dream about a great outpouring of rain, received by Paula M. Cavu on 15th Jan.1997

I was with a companion outside this big house. We were working in the garden of the lush and green front yard. It started to rain and when we looked to the sky we knew that a great rain was coming quickly upon us. We ran as quickly as we could towards the front door of the house. Too late, the heavy rain was upon us before we got to the front door.

The rain of the direct teaching and leading of God will cause God's people to be blessed and to prosper in doing His will

Isa 55:6

Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:

Isa 55:7

Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

Isa 55:8

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

Isa 55:9

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Isa 55:10

For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:

Isa 55:11

So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Dream about the snow of God's confirmation to the writing of this particular article, received by Paula M. Cavu on the night of 22nd April 1997

I received this dream on the night before the day that I wrote this particular article that you are now reading. I did not relate it to the inspiration for writing the article until quite a few days later. Part of the reason for this was the fact that I was very busy and the other reason was my unfamiliarity with snow. I have never seen snow falling like rain except on television and in the movies. When I got the dream, I just wrote it down quickly and put it away. The dream is self explanatory when related to the following scripture:

A group of us was gathering on the side of a street in an urban area. We were going to have an open air preaching service.

Then snow started to fall from the sky, ever so lightly at first. The snow was pure, fluffy and white. I scooped some off my arm to drink.

Then it started to snow quite heavily so that we all had to run for shelter. There was a large tree close to us and I climbed it for my shelter. Another man climbed the same tree after me.

When it was time to climb down, the other man descended easily but I suddenly found that my fear of heights gripped me. I was paralyzed with fear and could not move. In my desperation I hugged the tree for my dear life. I felt that I could fall at any time!

The latter rain will be withheld until the Church has been purged and cleansed from whoredom and wickedness

Jer 3:2

Lift up thine eyes unto the high places, and see where thou hast not been lien with. In the ways hast thou sat for them, as the Arabian in the wilderness; and thou hast polluted the land with thy whoredoms and with thy wickedness.

Jer 3:3

Therefore the showers have been withholden, and there hath been no latter rain; and thou hadst a whore's forehead, thou refusedst to be ashamed.

Jer 3:4

Wilt thou not from this time cry unto me, My father, thou art the guide of my youth?

The appointed weeks of harvest in the season of the former and latter rains

Jer 5:23

But this people hath a revolting and a rebellious heart; they are revolted and gone.

Jer 5:24

Neither say they in their heart, Let us now fear the LORD our God, that giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in his season: he reserveth unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest.

He that trusts in God above all others and comes directly to be taught and led of Him shall never want and never cease from yielding fruit

Jer 17:5

Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.

Jer 17:6

For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.

Jer 17:7

Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.

Jer 17:8

For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
