Daystar Ministry for Prophecy, Dreams and Visions
Exercise to Test and Refine Your
Prophetic Interpretation Skills
New! 6th May 1997
Index:
Scripture exercise:
Isa.65:1-10 Not just an exercise but also a revelation in due
season for your understanding!
Scripture
exercise: Isa.65:1-10
Theme:
The separation within Christendom
is between those who are separated unto the "Spirit of Truth" and unto
Christ and those who are separated unto "the spirit of the world" and unto
the religion thereof.
The scriptures are pure and so every
word has meaning (Mt. 5:18). This means that the interpretations could
easily fall into a format of words and phrases that should help us to exercise
and refine our prophetic interpretation skills. The "hidden manna" ( Rev.2:17)
of the Old Testament can only be revealed by their New Testament application.
That is, we will need to read the Old Testament with our Spiritual New
Testament eyes in the Holy Ghost.
"Jesus answered and said unto
him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot
see the kingdom of God" (Jn.3:3).
It is in this way that we can also
interpret "pure" dreams, visions and prophecy. This is the way that is
taught in our two books, 'Heavenly
Communion In The Conscious State' and 'Dreams
And Visions With A Difference For All Believers.'
The ability that we have and
which we can develop directly from the Holy Spirit in the interpretation
of scriptures, is the same ability that we have for the interpretation
of prophecy, dreams and visions. If you simply rely on past knowledge in
the study of scriptures then you will not know the reality of the presence,
teaching and leading of the invisible Holy Spirit. Here, you will not have
any credible ability to interpret prophecy, dreams and visions because
it is God, who is with us and in us, who interprets them.
"And they said unto him, We
have dreamed a dream, and there is no interpreter of it. And Joseph said
unto them, Do not interpretations belong to God? tell me them, I pray you"
(Gen. 40:8).
"But the Comforter, which is
the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you
all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have
said unto you" (John 14:26).
Exercise yourself in the interpretations
of these scriptures. Ask the Spirit of Truth to teach you and don't let
past knowledge desensitize you to direct spiritual perception and discernment
from the Holy Ghost. Click on our interpretations for guidance and edification.
If you see any fresh revelation that will bless us from the study of the
scriptures at hand then please share it with us.
The obvious interpretation to Isaiah
65 involves God's relationship with His people under the Old Testament
Covenant ("a rebellious people") and those under the New Testament Covenant
of God's grace ("a nation that was not called by my name").
In the following
interpretations, we will look at the same scriptures in relation to what
the Spirit of Truth is saying to Christendom in April 1997. This is what
the Holy Ghost is saying through the pages of Daystar Ministry's web site
and the language and vocabulary used will be those used in these pages.
