These postcards show player action caricatures drawn by the artist 'Renn'. They have a caption and player stats at the bottom of the card. Three are known to exist. Apparently the artist himself had the cards printed and tried to sell them outside grounds but did not have much success. |

This series was the first football series issued by Kornies. The cards are the smallest in size issued, similar to the size of a cigarette card. The backs show 'A series of 64'. The first 64 cards are exactly the same subjects as those in the 1948 series but are harder to find than that series The final 44 are vastly easier to find than the first 64. There are actually 36 cards in this set. The cards not listed
are those of personalities from sports other than Australian Rules. Prizes
were available by collecting all 36 cards and completing a 15 piece jig saw
puzzle that was also issued the nut bags. The cards are known to have four different back styles. 3 have printing and the other is a blank back. |

This is an anonymous set and although it is similar in appearence to the Victorian Nut Supplies series it may possibly have been issued by Sweetacres. A theory exists that only half these cards were ever issued since the only ones ever seen are those listed below. |

These round badges were issued via coupon redemption in the
Argus newspaper in Melbourne. They are small round pin back badges showing
either a black and white player portrait of a colour club emblem, both on a
team colour background. The badges were issued in various lots throughout the
football season resulting in the set containing VFL mascots, captains and
popular players and also VFA mascots and captains. The Geelong captain badge was originally issued as Lindsay White
and subsequently replaced with Bernie Smith, and the Melbourne captain badge,
originally Norm Smith, was replaced with Alan Ruthven. |
