Each player card has a light blue denim pattern border with the club colours in a "button" in the bottom right corner. The player's name and playing position is in black at the base of the card and the club nickname is in white at the top. The reverse of each card features either a part of the famous Scanlens Grand Final puzzle or football tips for young players. Each of the 12 checklist cards again has an ad for the Scanlens Card Locker. They were available in packets with a stick of bubble gum from milk bars, newsagents and similar outlets.

A poster was also issued with all twenty four players heads blank and their names jumbled up. On the back of each of the 12 checklists there is a chance for collectors to win a club jumper. They were available in packets with a stick of bubble gum from milk bars, newsagents and similar outlets.
