The
initial series of three cards show the coach, a player from Port Melbourne FC
and a promotional card advertising the upcoming events of Australia's Premier
Collectables Show (APCS). The cards were designed to be signed by players and
coaches appearing at the show, and individually-numbered with 300 cards of
each produced. Additional cards have been produced for ex-players appearing
at subsequent shows. |

Collingwood past champions were issued at the Past Players Association
marquee at the Collingwood family day. A space at the bottom of each card was

A series of five post card sized cards issued to some Hawthorn
members, comprising three players plus two team photos. A Tasmania logo
appeared on the card along with the Hawks logo in a white curved panel on the

This card series was issued by the Herald Sun newspaper in
Melbourne but was produced by the Select company. Cards are slightly smaller
than the standard modern trade cards and show close up action images of
leading AFL players. The cards were issued daily in packets over sixteen
consecutive days upon redemption of a coupon in the paper. A caricature pack
was also issued with this set. |

Adelaide Football Club has produced a set of Collectors cards to mark the
2009 season. Each set contains a series of numbered cards one through to
twenty eight of the senior players complete with personal details and games
record. Unsigned Cards were available at the Club, via the web e
commerce facility and on match days from the merchandise stand. Signed
Collectors Cards were available via the club. The Collector Cards were the
initiative of David O'Hara who along with photography by Deb Curtis produced
an outstanding product with limited availability. |

A second series of Planet Teal cards were issued following on
from the set issued the year earlier. They were a similar format to the
previous year showing head and shoulder portraits, and once again were issued
to junior Planet Teal members. The players in the set were different to the
previous year. |

Melbourne players with a red diagonal panel for the player name at the top and
a red and blue striped diagonal team name panel at the bottom. The Boroughs
emblem also appeared on the front of the card. The card numbers on the front

This second series for the year shows player action photos on a
predominantly white bursting background with a fancy name banner with gold
text. As with the previous years second series this
one contained the now traditional subsets of Medal winners, All Australians,
Draft Pick signatures and premiership predictors. Captain Signatures make a
return and Double Trouble cards follow from the first series. Rookie
Sensation signatures are the new subset in this series. |

in two series of 24. Inside each box was a figurine and
a small card showing a picture of the figurine. Each figurine was issued in a

This sticker series shows player action photos on the standard
series which were issued 5 per packet. The packet also contained one Platinum
Superstar, which formed a series of foil stickers. 12 standard stickers and 6
Foil stickers were issued for each of the sixteen teams. An album was also
issued to house the stickers. |

This set was issued to commemorate Geelong's victory in the 2009
Premiership. Each premiership player is featured along with a header card,
team photo and premiership cup card. The cards were sold in clear plastic
boxed sets within a sleave headed 2009 Premiers. 2000 boxed sets were
produced. |

but in an oval shape. The front shows a player guernsey
in a holographic silver or red background. The back of the card shows a
player action image. Four players from each club were issued in bags of Samboy, CCs, Cheezels chips and
others produced by Snackbrands Australia. The
Kickers with the red front were very difficult to find. |

This nine sticker set shows action shots of Sturt past and
present players. A new sticker was released for each of the nine home games
played at House Brothers Oval during the 2009 season. The stickers were made
available to junior members at the ground on the day of each cards specific
home game only, this means that very few sets were ever
distributed/collected. |

This series shows action shots of players with a team coloured
solid surround and border and statistics that assist in playing the Team 2009
competition, run as per the previous year with prizes of gold and blue series
of cards. The collectors’ edition packets contained standard, silver, gold,
B&F and checklist cards and again this season, a special star wildcard
insert series showing WEG caricatures of star players, but there were
additional Magic Wildcards in this set. Again, game day footy record cards were issued. Silver versions
of player gold cards were issued with a footy record promo logo on the front. |
