Lunch in Rain, Bargo

“Cycling Gear”

Bike, Helmet, 2-3 jerseys, 2-3 knicks, 1 long knicks and/or leg-warmers, 1 warm jersey and/or arm-warmers, Wet weather jacket, Chest warmer ? (jacket or singlet), Shoes, Shoe covers, Socks, Gloves (summer and winter), Sunglasses, Clear glasses, Sunscreen, Computer and Bidons, Pump, 2 tubes, repair kits, (Colin will bring a small range of clothing and spares, for sale. If in doubt, purchase before.) Colin’s toolkit will be in the Prado, but you can bring any tools that you may need on the road, esp. on the last day.

“Post-Ride Clothing”

5 golf or T-shirts, Shorts, Jeans, 2-3 jumpers or sloppy joes, Socks, Underwear, Deodorant, Sneakers / Walking Boots (suitable for Blue Lake trek), Swimming trunks, Swimming/Bathing Towel, Caps/Hats, Thongs/Sandals, Pyjamas or tracksuit, Hankies and/or tissues, Aromatic oils (not aniseed), Coat hangers and/or pegs (for drying riding gear), Woolmix, Plastic bags, to keep clothes dry,

“Other”

Slice / Muffins, Staminade / sports powder, Toiletries, Medication and prescriptions, Deodorant, Sunscreen, Insect Repellent, Lanolin / ointments / powder, BandAids / Aspirin / First-Aid needs, Dencorub (keep away from Brian), Sleeping Bag, Air-bed or roll-up, Blow-up Pillow (optional), Sheet (optional), Embroidered pillowcase (floral or initials), Earplugs / eyemask, Teddy bear (or blanky),

“Weather Warning”

Make sure you have suitable clothes and shoes for four-five hour walk from CP to MtK., and the weather may change suddenly. Take into account, that we may have many consecutive wet days.
