Porsche 924 Design

Anatole (Tony) Lapine

Tony Lapine was head of Porsche's styling and design and had responsibility for the 924's design. He was born in Latvia in 1930 and spent 17 years with General Motors before moving to GM's Opel in Germany where he was discovered by Porsche.

Harm Lagaay

The styling of the 924's body is credited to a 29 year old Dutch designer working under Tony Lapine named Harm Lagaay. He later went on to style the 968 which was the final evolution of the 924.
