Dance for God to arise and take His place

I dreamed that I was in a palace or a cathedral. It was a huge building and very beautiful. The ceilings were very high and everything was gold. It almost looked gothic in a way but not in an evil sense. The entire structure was beautifully made and seemed to be perfect.

I was walking through the building when all at once I heard the sound of music. It was very loud. It was the song, "ARISE". I was dressed in a dress that the worship dancers wear and I went out in the middle of the floor and began to dance. (I am not a dancer, or on a worship team only when it is between me and the Lord when I am alone).

As I danced I felt a sense of freedom and I did not care who saw me do it. I do not know where the music was coming from and why I was dressed in worship dance clothing.

The song goes:

Arise, arise,
Arise, arise, take your place
be enthroned on our praise

Arise, King of kings,
Holy One, as we sing,
Arise, arise....etc.

There was a man who walked by with a piece of paper in his hand and looked at me as I danced. He did not say anything to me. He was dressed in a suit and tie. There were also 2 children who I think were also dancing at the side, but went their way.

I continued to dance until the music stopped. As suddenly as it started, it also stopped very abruptly. I was disappointed there was no more music, I then left the building.

I was one of the only one's left in the building except I knew that there were people in an office somewhere having some kind of meeting. It seemed like everyone in the building had left. It was very late at night. END OF DREAM

** The huge, perfect and golden palace constitutes the kind of dream language that is a portrayal of the abode of the presence of God (1Ch 29:1). When I read this dream I was reminded of a dream I had while I was yet a young Christian minister.

In this dream I was bowing before a place like a cave seemingly of gold and bathed in glorious golden light; obviously a manifestation of the presence of God. I was attired in Jewish priestly clothing weeping, praying in tongues that sounded like Hebrew and interceding for Israel. In the dream I was thinking to myself that here I was being a Jewish priest but that I was not a Jew. I woke up feeling the same way and feeling strange because in the dream I was really weeping and interceding so intensely for Israel – something that I could not identify with in reality as if the person in the dream was someone else and yet it was me.

Only in retrospect did I realize that apart from intercession the dream also alluded to my ministry calling (Daystar Ministry) to the whole house of Israel or the Church. The advent of the Internet and world-wide-web was great timing for reaching Christians in nations of the world across denominations and groups. Formation of the Daystar Ministry team for the Internet in mid 1990s was technically led by Dr Gavin Porter and included the Porter family, Watson family, Taylor family, Wilson family and Cavu family. As a team, we were separated for what turned out to be a huge task until 2002. This was when the load of the ministry on the Internet subsided to be manageable by just two folks - Paula Cavu and Gavin Porter.

In my dream I was clothed in Jewish priestly garment deeply groaning, weeping and interceding for Israel in a glorious golden place. In your dream you were dressed in a dress that the worship dancers wear and you went out in the middle of the floor of a glorious and golden palace and began to dance. In reality I was not a Jewish priest in the natural and in reality you were not a dancer in your local church nor were you in the worship team.


The similarity of the language of your dream to mine made me believe that as you danced to the music that called for God to arise and take His place, you were actually interceding for God to arise and take His place in the Church. Then He could stem the tide of falling away from the direct teaching and leading of the Spirit and guide the people towards fulfilment of the will and purpose of God – a regular theme of the D&V List (see Daystar Ministry web site for publications of the teaching)


Thus, in the background of what the Spirit was saying recently in the D&V List, your dance of intercession in the golden palace was according to the will of God as prophesied for the end times in Ezekiel 34. In both dreams we were co-labouring with the Spirit in fervent intercession according to the will of God.


Rom 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
Rom 8:27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints ACCORDING TO THE WILL OF GOD.

Eze 34:1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
Eze 34:2 Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks?
Eze 34:3 Ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill them that are fed: but ye feed not the flock.
Eze 34:4 The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up that which was broken, neither have ye brought again that which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty have ye ruled them.
Eze 34:5 And they were scattered, because there is no shepherd: and they became meat to all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered.
Eze 34:6 My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and upon every high hill: yea, my flock was scattered upon all the face of the earth, and none did search or seek after them.
Eze 34:7 Therefore, ye shepherds, hear the word of the LORD;
Eze 34:8 As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely because my flock became a prey, and my flock became meat to every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flock;
Eze 34:9 Therefore, O ye shepherds, hear the word of the LORD;
Eze 34:10 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them.
Eze 34:11 For thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out.
Eze 34:12 As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.
Eze 34:13 And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country.
Eze 34:14 I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie in a good fold, and in a fat pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel.
Eze 34:15 I will feed my flock, and I will cause them to lie down, saith the Lord GOD.
