End time Famine and the New Testament Ark
From: D&V List No.1352

Scene 1
I walked down from our family home in Fiji to the fruit and vegetable market
place. There was a scarcity of products but I spied a table of yellow bananas.
There was only one good bunch amongst the few that was there that I wanted.
The cost was $4 (about four times the cost in real life). The lady packed it
for me and I reached into my large purse for the money. I only had coins in
the local currency and there was not enough there. I was trying to avoid using
the large wad of notes in my purse as the lady may not have the change.
When I finally decided to use the notes, I found that they were denominations
of many different countries of the world. I spent quite some time looking for
local currency but to no avail. I finally had to leave without the bananas
and go back to our family home.
** In considering the background to the dream dealing with end times, we can
conclude that the food shortage and inability to buy food in the dream warned
of end time famine. The currency notes of different nations in the large purse
meant that this will be a world-wide phenomenon.
Rev 6:5 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say,
Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had
a pair of balances in his hand.
Rev 6:6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure
of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou
hurt not the oil and the wine.
From my personal Bible Commentary on Rev 6:5-6
Black horse - black depicting gloominess and sorrow from food shortage
Rider with a pair of balances - instrument of working out price that is symbolic
of famine Rev_6:6 Eze_4:16; Lev_26:26
"
See thou hurt not the oil and the wine" - oil and wine are symbolic
of divine food provision Rev_12:6 for God's protected people Psa_91:1-9;
The pre-Rapture beginning of sorrows scriptural background to the dream is
revelation of the perfect agreement of Rev 6:1-8 with Mat 24:5-8 (taken from
my personal Bible Commentary)
Mat 24:5 For many shall come in my name, SAYING, I AM CHRIST; AND SHALL DECEIVE
MANY. (White horse of Rev_6:2)
Mat 24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of WARS: see that ye be not troubled:
for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. (Red horse
of Rev_6:4)
Mat 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:
and there shall be FAMINES, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
(Black horse of Rev_6:5-6)
Mat 24:8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. (Pale horse of Death and Hell
of Rev_6:8 combined effects of the 3 former horses and their riders)
Mat 24:9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you:
and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. (Rev_6:9-11)
Scene 2
I was in a field with another man and we were measuring out the length of a
big boat that was to be built. A couple of builders joined us. Soon the flat
bottom of the wooden boat was put together with fresh timber and construction
was to continue.
** The building of the large boat in the dream is akin
to the building of Noah’s
Ark. We note from the teaching of the D&V List that the end time manifestation
of the fellowship of neighbours is the final process of perfecting the sons
of God for the onset of First Resurrection or Rapture. (See article on Daystar
web site entitled: The Church/Bride as the Ark of God from D&V List
No.1340 of Saturday 11 April, 2009)
Dream references to end time famine and end time building of the New Testament Ark are warnings, signs and teaching of end times. The Ark is appropriate symbolism for the vehicle of the Rapture. In it the firstfruits harvest of the earth will be taken to heaven together with the Holy Spirit. They will not have to experience Great Tribulation of the Day of the Wrath of God upon the earth.
