Not much is currently known about Thomas, but on his death certificate
it states that he was in the Colony of NSW for 48years, which means he came
out to Australia about 1852. (source: NSW Death Reg.
11891/1900).
Possibly on the same ship as the HENVILLE's.
His occupations are listed as - Miller, Publican, Inn Keeper

on the 17th September 1886 in Braidwood NSW.

Mary Benedicta HENVILLE was born before 7th Feb 1831 Chideock, Dorsetshire, England
(when she was baptised) to Constantine Phipps HENVILLE & Ann Brown.

Mary had come out to Sydney, Australia aboard the ship "Bolton" on 23rd June 1853 with her father,
Constantine, and step-mother, Marianne (nee KNIGHT).
Mary Benedicta passed two key names down
into the Miller family - Brune
and Phipps. Both these names were absorbed
by the HENVILLE family in honour of the respective families concerned.
Brune - shared Church duties in Lydlinch and Swanage (both
Dorset, England) during 1500-to-1800.
Phipps - sailed under protection of (along with
midshipman Nelson), and married into the family of, the Barons Mulgrave.
Thomas and Mary MILLER first lived in Sydney and resided at 22 Grose
St, Glebe. Sometime before 1862 they moved down the NSW South Coast to the
area of Jembaicumbene.

Braidwood Cemetery NSW.
