Welcome to my Web site!
My name is Eddy Ashenden and I have been involved with the automotive
graphics and computer sign industry since 1980 in Brisbane, Australia.
I was born in Switzerland, grew up
in England and came out to Australia in 1966. I love music, art, surfing,
and designing graphics.
Being creative is important to me, whether its designing signs, logos or
graphics, or being involved in my stress-buster hobby - art.
Currently
I have being doing a lot of watercolour paintings. Watercolour painting is an amazing
medium because it is much harder to control but is almost a "spectator
sport" as you watch the pigments move around in their watery environment.
Stunning effects happen almost
without intention, so you have to go with the flow and react fast and loose
as the picture emerges. Family pets are a good subject so if you would
like to have your pooch painted send me an email with a good cute
photo and I will immortalize your pet for you - turtles included! Or
if you have a good looking Queenslander House give me the opportunity to
paint it in watercolour.
