These are words of wisdom handed down to The Church of Apathy from the Most Holy Googlepleimer Ekarbus Nivekius along with many other numerous Holy men and women who follow The Path of Apathy. As the founder of The Church of Apathy His words are treated as inspired from God, and as such are recorded here for the followers of The Path of Apathy who wish to seek inspiration in their quest for a truer understanding of our mission in this world.

You cannot seek the true meaning of The Path of Apathy. For to seek is to deny The Path of Apathy, and forever deny understanding. To truely understand the meaning of The Path of Apathy one must emrace It's true meaning and remove any desire to find meaning. Once a follower of The Path of Apathy has accomplished this, they will come to know the true meaning of The Path of Apathy.

Jesus died on the cross not just because he couldn't be bothered getting off, but also to forgive us for our sins, (which is a sin in and of itself.) Thus we are all forgiven, no matter what we might, or more importantly, might not do. And so we will enjoy our reward in the afterlife by doing absolutely nothing.

The Church of Apathy does not want devout follows, for the devout care so much about their beliefs that they leave The Path of Apathy and try to spread the message of The Path of Apathy. In doing so they enter the paradox that all who try to truly follow the teachings of The Church of Apathy and so fail to find the true meaning of The Path of Apathy.

The question of why the sins which are the antithesis of all that The Church of Apathy stands for are not treated with such seriousness and as such are not called deadly sins has been asked by many who are beginning to follow The Path of Apathy. The answer to the question is that we follow The Path of Apathy. The reason we have Seven Mediocre Sins and not Seven Deadly Sins is simply we could not be bothered making them deadly.
