Glennies Creek Dam

Downstream face of the completed Glennies Creek Dam concrete faced rock fill embankment. At the bottom of the dam wall can be seen the steel mesh used to protect the rock fill embankment from being washed away by floods during construction.

Concrete face slab under construction on the upstream face of Glennies Creek Dam. In this type of dam the impermeable membrane is a relatively thin concrete slab on the upstream face of the dam.
