Rhythmic gymnastics is a sport where gymnasts participate with 5 types of apparatus: rope, hoop, ball, clubs and ribbon. Gymnasts can compete individually or in teams of five. A panel of judges rewards gymnasts for their performance where gymnasts display their skill such as leaps, jumps, balances, pivots, acrobatics and apparatus handling.
Size: Diameter - 80 cm to 90 cm at the inside.
Weight: At least 300 grams.
Material: Wood or plastic (it must be rigid, of non-bending material).
Colors: Any colour except gold and silver.
Size: Diameter - 18 cm to 20 cm.
Weight: At least 400 grams.
Material: Rubber or plastic.
Colors: Colors: Any colour except gold and silver. Fancy drawings will not be accepted only geometric drawings are appropriate.
Size: Length - 40 cm to 50 cm.
Weight: At least 150 grams per club.
Material: Wood or plastic
Colors: Colors: Any colour except gold and silver. Both clubs can have different colors.
Size: Length - Proportionate to the height of the gymnast.
Ends: It has knots at the ends. Which may be wrapped to a length of 10 cm (no more) with a colored or neutral non-slip material.
Material: Hemp or any synthetic material.
Colors: Free to choose. Gold and silver are not allowed.
Size: Length - 50 cm to 60 cm including attachment-ring. Diameter: Maximum 1 cm.
Material: Wood, plastic or fibreglass.
Colors: Any colour except gold and silver.
Length: 6 meters long. Width: 4 cm to 6 cm.
Weight: About 35 g (without stick and attachment).
Material: Satin or a non-starched derivative.
Colors: Any colour except gold and silver.
