Frameit works on a PC operating Windows 95/98, Windows 3.1, NT, Windows 2000, XP or DOS.  It can be used within a Window or as a full-screen application.  You can even use a dial-in ability or "Terminal Service" in Windows 2000/XP.  Our recommended operating system is Win2000.  This is because XP can thrash the CPU usage if trying to use other applications at the same time. Frameit is written as a compiled relational database.  This means that it is extremely fast and easy to use, even on an older PC.  It does not require huge amounts of disk space or the latest computer.  It is very efficient in storing information in the minimum of hard drive space.  In fact it stores up to 5 years of previous jobs.  These can be re-displayed or re-printed at any time.

Unlike some other "simplistic" framing pricing systems, Frameit offers a way to grow your business.  It has the ability to work across multiple computers that are all hooked together (called a LAN or WAN).  It also has a Point-of-Sale module that prices and tracks other sales (say framed mirrors or prints) plus a Debtors system that can provide Invoices and Statements for account customers.
