When you get Frameit, demonstration items will have been set up in a particular way. You are free to keep this structure or change some of the items to suite you, should you wish. But before you do change things, let's think about what you want and where you want to place the items. Some items cannot be moved or renamed because they have extra features. They are Frames, Glazings, Mats, Extra Openings, Special Items, Poster/Misc Costs and Freight/Packaging.
When
we set up the order of the items we tried to do so in sequence with framing a
normal job. So we start off with the size and description of the item to
be framed. Now on the main screen the first question is Frames. So
we pick a frame, or two.
Now we try and cover what may need to be done to the item to be framed, such as stretching or mounting.
Next
we choose a Glazing or glass type from drop down selection (all of which can be
changed by you).
Moving along we get to the labour type of options. I know, mats are in the middle of it but that's how things are.
As we get further down we get to the Special Items drop box where again you can include your own items.
So try and set up the screen to work in with the way you do things.
One word of warning. While at a later date you are able to go and re-arrange the screen, you will find that if you do and then recall/reprint a job that was created from a different screen design, things will not necessarily make sense as the wrong item will appear. So it is better to get the screen right before you start using the program.
