Graeme Barr is a water-colour artist who likes to explore colour, atmosphere and light in his paintings. The finest quality traditional water-colours, acrylics, papers and frames are used.

Graeme is an award winning artist whose work is sought after and stands out against other art work. Paintings are one off originals. His work is in private collections in the USA, UK, Switzerland, New Zealand, and Australia.

These paintings are the result of an ongoing creative journey. Life is one, connected by space. Images, shapes, colour define space and create the surrounds to our world.

The images are from the Byron Bay area of Australia, New Zealand, and Europe.

Byron Bay is a beautiful subtropical area with many subjects to paint. Graeme chooses to live in the Byron Bay region at Lennox Head.

New Zealand is a contemplative place at the bottom of the world, full of natural wonders, and has wide open space, ocean and high mountains.

Europe offers many exciting vistas of architectural wonder. The history breathes out of the structures and creates a colourful fog which embraces the villages and towns.
