Brett's HT speakers

A friend of mine was building a new house, and needed some speakers for a 7.1 surround system.

He was aiming at a projector set-up on a large screen. He also wanted the front LR to be of very good sound quality for music for himself, and required wall hanging surrounds.

The end design uses Peerless 850439, 6.5" MTM with the Seas 27TBFC for fronts and centre, and Peerless 850448, 5" + Seas 22TAFC.  The centre ended up being slightly shorter to fit under the screen.

An AR series 2nd order cross-over is used in the fronts and centre. Simple series in the rears.

 Sub Woofer is a Peerless 12" XLS driven by the Stones SS200 plate amp.

Finish is black stained ply with semi-gloss 'Jarrah' top and bottom plates, and solid brass feet.
