of the "Conehead" saga know how this speaker came
about
Anyway... "Corinthian"
is a derivation of the Tapered Pipe, but has 12 faces forming a
truncated dodecahedral pyramid. It is the nearest construction I
could make to a truncated cone.
The drivers used are
the Seas clear cone T17RE and the Tangband clear dome tweeter.

When building this I
actually tightly fitted the vacuum hose in the top and sucked the
air out to pull the sides together. (before I cut the driver hole
and port of course ;-) Was great fun finding where the
air was leaking in and filling the pinholes with glue.
