Leo'Dore Lass'Ame was the first character I played after leaving high school and coming to university back in 1990. The campaign lasted for over eighteen months, and when it ended he was a 24th level Cleric. The campaign used a large number of house rules, many of which have counterparts in the new 3rd edition D&D, so I've taken the liberty of producing a 3rd edition writeup of Leo for you to look at. I've also written up some spells that may be of interest, even if the character design isn't.
Converting him across was an interesting exercise and a great way to learn more about the new edition: I strongly recommend it to anyone coming into 3rd edition "cold" after some time playing other systems. I was surprised to find that the best way to model his music-based clerical magic was to multiclass him into Bard, but it really helped keep a number of other elements of the original character design intact, such as no clerical spells above 5th level (because he worshipped a Demigoddess) and high scores in a number of skills (a single-class cleric design just didn't get enough skill points to model this).
