Sheyana joined the temple of Pelor in Laria as soon as she reached majority on her fifteenth birthday. The priests acknowledged her as one marked with "the gift", and she joined the training class as a potential paladin. Under the watchful eye of Morrain, her paladin mentor, and the tutelage of several priests, Sheyana spent a little over four years preparing herself to take the vows. She did so when she was nineteen and a half years old, along with her classmates Arissa, Dorna and Harin.
Arissa: Human Paladin, female, 21 years old, 5'9" tall, slender build, hazel eyes, wears strawberry blonde hair cut in a soldier's bob, fair complexion. Arissa is Sheyana's best friend and roommate, but is currently away with Morrian and Midnight west of Laria. She and Morrain have battled trolls and a wyvern, and Arissa was almost killed by the trolls.
Dorna: Human Paladin, female, deceased. Dorna was killed by an unknown archer on the road north of Laria a little over one year ago. Her killer, and his or her motive, is still unknown.
Harin: Human Paladin, male, 21 years old, 5'11" tall, solid and muscled build, blue eyes, wears mid-length light brown hair loose, clean-shaven, tanned fair complexion, handsome appearance. Harin was Sheyana's friend in the armed escort of High Priest Yilor of the Temple of Pelor. He seems interested in getting to know Susanna better.
Jarrell: Human Cleric, male, 20 years old, 5'10" tall, lean build, wears black hair cut short, clean-shaven, swarthy complexion, missing the little finger and the outer joint of the ring finger on his left hand. Jarrell travelled to Daranim with Cora to help treat sufferers of the Wasting Fever, but returned to Laria after Cora left to accompany the other envoys to Norista. He was one of the two male friends who greeted Sheyana when the envoys and the caravan arrived at the Temple.
Leinnoclair: Half-Elf Cleric, male, 28 years old (approximately 19 Human years), 4'11" tall, lean and muscled build, green eyes, wears mid-length brown hair tied back, clean-shaven, fair complexion, handsome appearance. Lein was one of the two male friends who greeted Sheyana when the envoys and the caravan arrived at the Temple. He has been practicing Elven calligraphy with Lerelde Starflower, Priest of the Church of Corellan Larethian.
Midnight: Warhorse, black stallion. Midnight is Morrain's special mount. He is currently away with Morrain and Arissa west of Laria.
Morrain: Human Paladin, female, 27 years old, 5'6" tall, lean build, green eyes, wears waist-length red hair in a long plait, very fair complexion. Morrain is Sheyana's mentor as a paladin, but is currently away with Arissa and Midnight west of Laria. She and Arissa have battled trolls and a wyvern.
