The development of young woodworkers was one of the main objectives when the Illawarra Woodworkers proposed the idea of the Illawarra Exhibition of Fine Woodcraft. It was very pleasing to see not only such a high number of Youth entries this year but also the high standard.
The Youth Section was proudly sponsored by Abrasives and Industrial Supplies and Corrimal RSL Club
The winner of the youth category wasByron Moulton from Warilla High School with a Coffee Table in Radiata and Canadian Pine
Runner up was Alan Dodds from Warilla High School with a Trinket Box in Black Heart Sassafras
| In third place was Sean Gallagher from Warilla High School with a Small Hall Table in Radiata Pine
Highly Commended was Daniel Merange from Warilla High School with a Blanket Box in Radiata Pine
