Since 1995, the cartoon strip, 'Hot Dawg!!' has been seen weekly in newspapers and magazines across Australia. Currently, it appears weekly in 'The Redland Times' in Queensland. The strip chronicles the adventures of Hot Dawg, a basset hound, his owner Tom, and Scratch the puppy. Hot Dawg is a talented but lazy underachiever. He struggles with obsessions for food, mud, food, comfort, food, and food. Hot Dawg is a dog only a dedicated owner could love . . . and there in, you have Tom. Always affectionate, but often frustrated, most of us who own a dog (or have a child) can sympathise with Tom. Scratch is the new addition to the household, who Hot Dawg plans to mould in his own image. . . and use as a scapegoat, should the opportunity arise!
